Nice setup. :) Katamari Damacy wallpaper?
Yep! I love Katamari Damacy.

I must agree, nice setup. my question is, is that a 24" Samsung? How much does it cost?
Its a 22" Samsung 226Bw, such a stunning monitor. I almost wish i didn't have one because it even makes the MBP's gorgeous LED display look mediocore.

It was about about $450aus but if your in the US a quick look on newegg tells me it can be had for as low as $239us.:)

I have the same monitor with my MBP and got it at Newegg. I love it as well, and don't have the horizontal line issues Shannighan mentioned. I'm thinking about getting another one for my PC laptop. Thanks for the heads up on the price cut.

The out of the box colours aren't great, but after i used a color profile from here it pretty much blew my mind.

Yup, dirty desk =P

I bought the desk cheap and I never feel bad about using my X-acto knife on it.
Plus, my MBP spends most of its life on my bed.

Oh, I'm 16.

Hahaha

X-acto knife....

I did the same thing on my other desk.
When I was done with the knife, Id throw it down on the desk, letting the tip get stuck in the wood.

Anyways, I'm 17 and here's my recently updated setup:

Oh, funny story...

... When I bought my iMac at the store my parents and I agreed on the 2.4 20" one. A really cool apple employee went to the back and came out with 2 iMacs (boxes of different sizes). We paid for the iMac and I left the Apple Store with a brand new iMac. I get home and I start unboxing it when I realize that it looks a lot bigger than the one I saw in the store. Turned out to be a 24", man was I a happy camper.

I hope the other iMac the Apple Employee had wasn't my 20" one he sold to someone who wanted a 24" one =P

The New MBP looks different.. Like lighter or something I'm not sure, or it could be because i parted with mine about a month ago :(

I had the same impression.

On the other hand, it looks as if he/she may have a protective piece over the arm rest.

Sorry for the messy state of the room, I will need to make room for a new MacBook Pro. The specs for my machines are in my sig. Oh and one last thing.

I am McLovin

We'll I finally got my MacBook Pro. I'll post a pic soon. I could also take a pic of the 3 iMac's and Mac Pro I also have sitting around while I set them up (I probably neglected to mention that I've already managed to get a job as a System Administrator for a company that uses all macs :-D).

Bingo. I have the Marware protection pack on it. Now that you guys mention it, I do like the lighter look in the picture. It would make a good looking color option.

Bestbuy. $47 I think.
:p

I spent the whole day look at really expensive furniture stores and I found nothing I liked. So I went to bestbuy for a cable that I needed and I was like "what the heck, I'll get it". I don't feel bad at all when I scratch it up.

My current IBM Thinkpad. I will soon be getting a MacBook Pro, then a MacMini.

I'm 12.

There's nothing wrong with being 12, I was, nearly two years ago and I was posting on Macrumors, I'm going to be 14 in August. As long as you don't post anything that's stupid or immature...

I better get my set-up posted soon!

Better hope the store see the funny side of it too - you may find that they refuse to honour your warranty & other such niceties now that you've made off with something you haven't paid for.
