I don't want to be raped :(
If I didn't have to pay insurance, buy a little gas, pay my phone bill, or save for a car - i'd definitely have a much nicer set up.

And at least macboy isn't spending his money on drugs, alcohol, Hollister clothes! He's actually buying/getting things that are going to further his education. Yayyy macboy

pfft American Eagle

(haha i'm 18 and buy all of the above plus my set up x_X) GJ macboy keep up the working hard life, if pays off :)

I don't get why there are two ways to plug it in.

Here is everything I have(In My setup):
SR macbook 2.0 GHz
HP 17'' lcd monitor
250GB Seagate Free Agent External HD
Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 surround sound
30 GB ipod video black
HP photosmart c4280 all in one printer
apple keyboard, white older version
microsoft laser mouse 6000
avermedia tvbox 7 ( to make monitor into a tv- I reccomend this highly instead of getting a monitor and a tv)
cannon SD1000

I paid for everything except $550 which was a combination of a birthday and chanukah gift

Nice, that's the first time I've seen Leopard branding on Apple's recent product packaging. I must admit, though, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic for Tiger after looking at my MBP/iMac box. Congratulations on your MacBook. :)

Texas, unfortunately.
Wow, I am not spoiled. My family is quite poor actually. Ok heres the story so you guys will **** about the spoiled stuff. I got accepted to a high school called the Orange County high school of the arts in there film and television department. It is a public school you just have to pass an audition they have dance and painting and other stuff too. I made all my audition videos with iMovie on my iBook G4, then once I got accepted into the school, my slightly wealthier grandparents bought my my MacBook Pro for me. I paid for $300 of Final cut studio and the rest was paid for by my parents for my birthday. We make real movies at my school that rivaled the local colleges film school, until they upgraded recently thats why I needed Final Cut. My Roland A-37 was given to me as a gift from a family friend who play keyboards.
I Will be paying for half of my iPhone if I do get it when the 3G comes out and I will have to pay for half the bill out of my allowance. I work hard with my grandpa putting the ads on shopping carts and I mow lawns for my money. OK!!! I am most certainly NOT spoiled.

C'mon guys, this is how the last thread was. Adults calling kids spoiled, kids would reacting with a nasty post about how hard their life has been and how the adults don't know what they are talking about.

So, two guidelines:

1. Do not call anyone spoiled. Think it all you want, but don't post it, even if it's a 7 year old who has a Mac Pro

2. If called spoiled, keep the flaming down to a minimum, or better yet, don't post anything at all.

If we can follow this, it will make the thread a much nicer place.

Here's my PC... hopefully switching to Mac this year. :D

I'm 16 and all the above was bought by me. I know I know I spend too much - after Christmas I'm selling it all and switching to an iMac 24". I'll make a pretty big loss but it will definitely be worth it.

And yes... I'm a neat-freak. =)

You may want to change your IMG to TIMG.

Nice setup though!

I'm gonna be using my dads HP w2207 external monitor for a little bit.
It's hocked up to my 17" MacBook Pro, which is sitting on top of my little white drawer thing that's to the left of my desk.

Wesley - Beautiful setup. But please tell me you didn't put an Apple sticker on a Moleskine notebook.
