Jeffzoom, nice setup! How old are you?

Thanks! I'm 18 btw. I payed for the iMac on my own about 2.5 years ago. The rest of the stuff on the desk was either a hand-me-down (rear channel speakers for example) or a gift. Except the iPhone, I bought all $400 of that on my own, and it was worth every penny.

Hi.

I have an ASUS Eee PC. Just wondering, what torrent did you use to make your Mini a hackintosh?

Thanks.

I didn't torrent anything actually! You just need a vanilla copy of OSX (leopard) and you're good to go. Not one of the "restore discs" that came with your macs, they're designed to only be installed on the machine they came with. I got my iMac like 2 weeks before leopard came out, and the upgrade disc worked just fine

my setup

Finally got around to buying the wireless keyboard the other day, all I need now is a mstand for my MacBook Pro... sadly to get one here in NZ will cost me about NZ$200 (more than I'm prepared to pay for a stand).
And one day I may save up enough for an apple cinema display... who knows.
Bought everything myself.
No speakers as I have an airport express playing my music through my stereo.

My desk here at home. I'll be 16 next month. 13" 2009 MBP, the left monitor is hooked up to my Mac Mini (soon to be sold), and the right to my PC (which is what the cheap generic keyboard is for).

Heh, my dry-erase board still has my Apple order scribbled on it.
