Stop complaining Mr Unibody MacBook Pro, I still have to use a PowerBookDamn you guys have really nice setups.
I use what I can. Left over Samsung SyncMaster 152N monitor with old Logitech speakers from my old PC. Also have a 500 GB Portable WD External.
And the late 2008 uMBP

+1. If you can afford a Mac, quit whining.
i COULD afford a mac when i bought one, but now i cant.. do i have the right to whine?
I kinda meant it as if you can afford to buy one and have one, quit whining. Having a mac is better then no mac. note to self, do not make forums posts while half asleep.
aaahhh makes sense!
i am currently saving up for when the "new" ones come out (whenever that may be). sadly, the ~2800Aus i have saved wont be enough to cover a new top spec MBP - will probs need to double what i have

Indeed Mr. Unibody MacBook Pro, I still have to use a 3yr old Dell Optiplex GX520 that was USED and using WinXP Pro Sp3!!!
Be grateful for what you have! Its ok to aspire for better or more but your MBP is still doing things nicely and efficiently. Also you can save a lil, sell the MBP (backup fully first and wipe clean of course), and fund your lust for the Unibody. Give that MBP to a family/person that really cannot feasibly afford new Apple pricing (even down the road).

Honestly, I haven't encountered a single reason to want to upgrade my PowerBook. My Dell with 10.5.8 seems to do everything my PB won't do.Oops, sorry guys, that's not what I meant. I love my uMBP to death, don't get me wrong.
I meant my setup as in, where I'm situating my laptop and external. Some of you guys have beautiful, clean sleek designs where you work.
That's what I meant.
I need to post my latest set up soon.it's really changed these last few weeks.
Snip!
