Looked around this thread for a while, thought it was time i post my setup :)
Macbook Air-High end 11" (2011)
iMac-Base 27" (2011)
Coke-Regular (2011)
19" TV
Xbox 360 original
Western Digital MyBook under the iMac.

(sorry about the quality, the pics were taken with my iPhone 4...no S :( lol)

(p.s. I paid for all of it myself :)...well...still paying for the MBA but in the end I will have paid for it lol.)

Edit: -_- how about money i earned by working for my parents...and neighbors...

Oh ya btw why don't you sell your iMac for $1300-1500 and buy thunderbolt to connect to your MacBook Air and use as a desktop docking station, then use the money that is left to finish paying off for your MacBook Air

I'm extremely jealous of everybody with a Mac

I'm extremely jealous of everyone's setups. Sorry for fuzzy picture, iPod Touch camera.

They' re awesome speakers. I got them for $100 at Fry's a few months ago and don't regret it at all. They're the best speakers for their price

Isn't they the best? People are saying that they are the best for that price. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but...

I really thought about it, but I am looking in to doing some heavy video editing and I could use the power. Plus it serves as a "hub" for my data. I could buy a wireless hd for that but that doesnt solve the power problem.

P.S. sorry for the very late reply. I was in school lol.

How long did it take you to save up for your iMac?
how much do you get paid for each time you shovel snow (Im in the Greater toronto area so theirs quite some snow)
How long do you think it would take me to save up approximately $450 ( so I can sell my current air and iPhone and upgrade to a high end 11' 2011 MBA)

Well, I usually ask the person how much they think it's worth...If they say 5 bucks then say thanks for the offer, but there are many houses that would pay more. (try not to make it sound too rude though). I'd say I usually make between 15-30 bucks per house. Im on my iPhone as I am on the bus so I can't do the calculation on how long itll take you. Sorry

P.S. again, sorry for the late reply...school :(

Sounds like a good idea! And lucky your school doesn't start til next week! Lol. I dont think there's an app for macrumors, but I think you can use tapatalk (cost money...so I don't have it haha) I just use safari. It's laggy though.

With only 5 months left of being 18 I thought I should get in while I still can :p

A few new things have been added lately, most notably the Bamboo. I really need a bigger desk now though :(

For those interested,
2011 27" iMac, specs in sig.
18" IBM CRT, not my preferred choice of second screen but it was free and does the job.
Two 3.5" 1TB WDs, one is a clone the other is for Time Machine.
320GB 2.5" WD, just used as a big USB stick really.
AV Labs 7 port USB Hub, not bad for $18.
Bamboo Fun, love this thing :D
No frills Microsoft mouse, gets the job done.
16GB Toshiba USB stick.
iPhone 3, got this for free second hand, still need to set it up though.
iPod nano 16GB.
Thomson iPod dock, came free with the iPod.

Everything's slowly coming together :)

Awesome setup, I really what a powermac with a cinema display.

I actually just built a new computer(pc, gonna dual boot osx) and am sadly giving the powermac to my brother.
powermac g5 is still an awesome computer but apple keeps supporting it less and less

This is my desk and random area where my printer and where my study materials all are. Its kind of messy but it usually always is, im hardly ever home. Im 17, on the desk is like 20$ speakers from target, in the bag is my dell laptop, a calandar to keep track of things. On the floor is my other computer, an old 2007 acer, and my printer, on the laptop is a hard drive that i made, i just bought a enclosure and took my moms old hard drive which was only 80gb but its better than the 5 flash drives i suppose. Then theres my PCAT books(im wanting to be a pharmacist and plan on studying this summer before i go to college, never to early to start learning)
-I hope you guys like it, im new to the forums so maybe there might be more of my other room in the tv setup section.

This is my current setup:

Photo%20Apr%2029%2C%209%2020%2010%20PM.jpg

The only thing not pictured is my Macbook Air which is outside the shot but pretty much everything else is in that picture.

Since I'm heading to university in two weeks I decided to make my setup a bit more portable. With only two cables connecting the MacBook to the display I can easily take it with me and plug it back in whenever I need more space.

I guess everything in the setup speaks for itself. I'm 17 in case anyone wonders.
