(got the powerbook as a free trade for a guitar amplifier, got the logitech speakers for 20 bucks after $80 rebate, the headphones were $70 marked down from 200, the mybook was $130, I also had to put a new hard drive and more ram in the powerbook.) Total cost of setup: $400
and my linux machine
5.1 surround sound 600 watts, amd 3000 with 1 gb ram and radeon 9800 running ubuntu feisty. Cost of setup was something like $1600. That's a lot of lawns.
