haha, How do you just "find" your hutch? Did you lose it? Is your house that big? It just sounds like you stumbled across it and you were like... Hey, my computer desk hutch, SWEET!

LOL, i saw it and im like i forgot my desk had a hutch, but it had a whole bunch of sticker things on the side so i had to spend an hour goo-goning it

I like the PlayStation3 just chillin' with the mini and MBP. :p

Nice specs on your PC. I plan to go Quad next year, as well as SLI some 8800s or 9800s or whatevers out by then. I like the P180B, but I chose the 900 due to the extra airflow.

a more final version of my setup, with my new (was bros) Dell Inspiron E1505, my moms old display, and a matching keyboard and mouse i found. Also, a laptop stand my dad made. Total "Windows" setup price = $0

total iMac Setup Price = $alot more, with applecare, iwork, and my iphone
oh, and i joined the exercise ball crowd ;)

Nothing needs to! I'm trying to get my setup in a condition like yours, I all need is a desk, which I'm getting custom made (Ikea-ish). ONLY thing I see that you can improve on visually is tie those cables up! :p ;)

My room always feels so... empty or something.

I am painting the walls pretty soon.

Something is missing, but I don't know what.

Here's my setup. You can see how I'm going with a black theme. The Macbook cost the same as the higher-end white and everything else, I had before. They all happened to be black; not that I tried or anything.

:apple: Black Macbook 2.16 GHz
:apple: iPod Nano on a Lego dock I built for it.

loving the black! you have to get a black nano! is there a black nano? im not to keen on the nano scene. *rhyme

Must be nice to "find" things like that! haha

Been meaning to post my setup for ages and thought I best get round to it since my 18th is quickly approaching. This is my bedroom at home...

This is where I spend most of my time.
iMac G5 20" 2.1GHz 1.5GB RAM, 1TB total storage connected to Sony 17" TFT
MacBook C2D 2.0GHz connected to Sony 17" TFT when it's not on the road.

Other notable items include a Behringer UB2442FX mixing desk, Shure SM57, Tapco S5 studio monitors, M-Audio MobilePreUSB, Bose Triport headphones, iPod Photo 20GB, Powermate, iPod Shuffle Dock (iPod missing in action :( ) New Apple keyboard (i like), K800i, M-Audio Keystation 49e, EyeTV for DTT. Oh and there's a PC hidden under there, one of many from my darker years.

As you can see I am into music although it is very much primarily used for web development and browsing/general computer use.

Then looking the other direction to my beautiful new Samsung LE32R87BDX

Hooked up to all this gubbins

including:

- 'Hackintosh' (till I save for a 'Mini) running FrontRow, EyeTV, sixtyforce, Joost etc. controllable with the amazing Remote Buddy and a Wiimote.

- Nintendo Wii, GameCube, N64, SNES, NES. All maxed out on controllers for good multiplayer times.

- Wireless Sennheiser RS120 headphones for late night films.

- Canon iP4200

- Buffalo Linkstation NAS, Linksys WRT54G

Just about exclusively funded by working, taken at least 3 years to gather this lot together (got my first Mac, an iBook in July 2004) and it's finally reached a state where I'm with what it does and how it all integrates. That was until the new iMacs came out. It never ends.

A few more pics here http://gallery.mac.com/mrikasu#100002

dude....i think i have that same desk, except mine is birch. did you get it from IKEA? i have that thing that your keyboard is under to...

For all GALANT owners, how does the desk stand up to every day abuse? Does the paper start to shave or peal off very easily?

I love the desk and I love the Birch Veneer, but I don't really want a paper wood desk again...
