Is that a tum-tum 3 Ninjas mask I see on your wall? If it is where on earth did you find one of those?

Oh man childhood memories.

Rocky loves Emily, Rocky loves Emily...

Um, yes. I'd say so ;)

Nonsense, a Pismo is very capable for basic computing. Keep in mind those things were the most powerful portables available only a few years ago.

I have an 867MHz PowerBook G4 and I compared it to my friend's macbook-

Saw very little speed increase in what I did from day to day (Safari, Mail, iTunes, iChat and MS Word)

So hang tight, and wait for some new breakthrough in design or something remarkable. Quite honestly, the aluminum PBG4 design is getting old.

It just can't run 10.5 when it comes out this month:)

I'm 17 & I've got:
-15" 2.2Ghz SR MacBook Pro - 2GB RAM, 128MB VRAM, & 120GB HD.
-23" Cinema HD Display
-Bluetooth Mighty Mouse & Keyboard
-30GB iPod (w/Video)
-Wii
-PS2 (pretty much solely for Guitar Hero)
-JVC Wide Screen DV Camera (GR-D770U)
-Lexmark PrinTrio (X1185)

I never realized how much I loved Silver things until after I looked at this picture... :)

I think that'd look really nice with the new apple keyboard. Also, consider getting a stand for your Macbook pro and keeping the games elsewhere and moving your printer to the floor. If you did the above, your setup would look really pro. As it stands, it's still very nice.

The aluminum Macbook Pro/ Powerbook design isn't old at all. It's very sleek and wonderful looking, looks much better then the TiBook I think. Honestly, what more can they do? If they make it carbon fibre, I'll hate it, and if they anodized it black... I'd long for silver.

Right now I'm still in the moving phase (I only moved three miles down the road, but for some reason it feels like that is making it take longer.) so I haven't got all of my furniture down yet. I actually have a seperate table for the printer, I just haven't gotten it here yet. And I've considered getting one of the new-style apple wireless keyboards, but I really like the feel of the full size white ones... plus I use excel a lot in my classes and I like having the numeric keypad.

My setup

Im 14. Pics include iMac G4(700mhz 320mb of ram, 40gig hardrive, 15 inhc lcd) just chilling in the studio, Mac Mini 1.25ghz g4, 40 gig hardrive, 1 gig of ram with 22 inch lcd. and my powerbook g4 1.33ghz 512mb of ram, 60 gig harddrive.

What kinda studio?

Okay I know it's a double post, but I've kinda just updated my setup majorly. Here goes:

Brand new MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz, (Apple just swapped it for my very faulty 1.83 GHz CoreDuo MBP). New 8 GB Nano, B&O BeoLab 4 speakers:

Wadya think?

I think those speakers are funny looking.

They're kinda purty in real life. I might get some different colours, each side of the pyramid is a separate cover, so you can mix and match. Black, dark grey, red and blue are the colours...
