I got an 8gb iPod Touch a couple days ago to add to my setup (which is beginning to look dated with everyone and their intel macs :p). Anyways my little PowerBook is chugging along. I can't yet really feel its age, although I do feel the speed increase when using my friend's MacBook.

Okay, here are my setups. I own every computer in our house, lol. I just kindly let my parents use this one ocasionaly.

Mac Mini
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
160GB HD

14" Benq monitor

I was going to upgrade my monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse, but I decided it would be a better decision to save the money for when I buy my MacBook. And yes, it is always this messy.

Next, I just bought this off my brother. Looks pretty ****** on the outside, but he's done some massive upgrading to it. I'm not sure exactly what, but it works super good, for a PC, lol. I use it for all my photoshopping right now (I do a few things in Aperture but I like my PC programs better, I've got about six different programs I run, so...), trying to get the wireless hooked up.

And my first ever computer, a Dell. Payed $90 for it and it was terrible. Took about an hour to boot up, and an hour to do anything else, lol.

Soon I will have a MacBook, I really want a colored one. And a Canon EOS 30D DSLR.

How do you like the iPod Touch? I am think of getting one for my 17th birthday.

Michael, looking good, just a matter of time until I get mine now... :)

Also on the shot with your classic and bottom half of the iMac did you just move the AF point to the left so it just focused in on it more also what lense?

Hmm...iMac on the dining table ;).

One things good for sure about that type of setup, you can use the iMac while you are eating ;)...get a keyboard skin though!

We don't eat on this table :)
We barely use this room, so it's a great place to quickly pop on the internet or show family some photos when downstairs :)

Also Jordan: Manual focus, Canon 24-70mm

I love it. Its fun to use and looks great. The internet on it is fabulous.

There are some cons though
- Only 8 or 16gb of storage (I have 30+gb of music)
- No Games (no big deal for me, but may be an issue for others)
- Contacts/Calendar is not editable
- If you hook it up to your car everytime you make a turn the screen will rotate

Hopefully 3rd party apps will come out

Spiffy iMac! Some of the setups here are really powerful in terms of CPU capability, but I tend to dislike anything that doesn't look impressively clean and sharp... saxondale, your setup is impressively sharp, to say the least. :p

Very nice. If you had an iPhone there it would be awesome. But the spiffy new iPod will do, I suppose. ;)

it's a westy 42 inch. Was only $200 more than the 37 so i just had to get it but still 1080p. Bought it for the PS3, which i haven't played for in a month(due to school not available games!)
