damn im so jealous. you fellow "kids" have such nice setups. all ive got is a bunch of lame looking beige boxes to brag about. well i have my new 17" powerbook 1 gig ram, 80 gig ram with 19" dell monitor to let shine. but comon you folks have large large monitors and lots of them. ive done video editing but unfortunately i did on a mac at a film company and could never take on any projects. now i get to go to college and be even poorer! i cant wait for the days where i have so many monitors even i think its silly

Are you saying a 17 inch powerbook isn't good enough?

I'm pretty sure that JBL sub will work a little better if its on the floor....maybe.

Actually, bass is omnidirectional, and is hard to pinpoint where it's coming from. It makes no difference where you put it. (In fact, having it on the desk MIGHT amplify it a little bit, because it might cause the desk to vibrate enough to help out.)

With a good amount of bass, it would be better on the floor. ;)

Hmm, but putting it under the desk would give it a lot of reverb. I dunno...

Same here! I also got fed up with Windows and just switched to an iMac G5 a couple months ago.

Lol, Its impossible I tried. I'll probably just wind up getting an extension cable soon enough. I really love Mac's now after switching from Windows. Definately in a few years, for college i'll be getting a nice Mactel Powerbook.

Edit: Sweet! I just found an old usb extension cord in my drawer. Finally out of the way.

hehe, so do I, that's why I got the Wireless Apple BT Keyboard & Mouse.
(Of course I'm kicking myself for it because my batteries are getting low!)

I'm probably going to try and ask for them for X-Mas-

1.) D-link Bluetooth thinger

2.) Apple Bluetooth Keyboard

3.) Apple Bluetooth Mouse/ Apple Bluetooth Mighty Mouse. :D

i'd rathe4r a nice logitech mx900 over a mighty mouse, wireless, more funtions, better....etc. aesthetics is the only pro off the mighty mouse.

I wouldnt mind having a BT Mighty Mouse though. That would be cool. But I definitely dont need another Apple mouse. Already have the BT and corded Mighty Mouse.
