And before anyone brings it up...
I am 18 and work at a pizza restaurant as well as do some freelance web design on the side. I paid for everything myself from money that I earned, including the software (Adobe Creative Suite, Macromedia, etc.), RAM, the iPod, etc. and the Powerbook. My parents paid for the ACD, but they had promised me a long time ago if I got a scholarship to college they would by me a computer and 23 inch ACD....I just got into UGA with a HOPE scholarship and they decided to let me have the ACD early so I wouldn't have to squint on the 12 inch PB screen while working on my graphics projects.

Woops, never replied to this, worked on 2+ acre lawns, working all day (usually 7-8hrs) 4-5 times a week. My prices are CHEAP.rickvanr said:So you made over 3 grand mowing lawns in 2 months?
You either worked at least 60 hours a week or are getting grossly overpaid.

1 acre = 20
1.5 = 25
2 = 30
2.5 = 35
3 = 40, etc etc
my competitor, yes i had a damn competitor in the neighborhood, was charging $50+ per acre. I think he is getting "grossly overpaid"![]()

ITASOR said:Heh, lol, that's what I did too. Only I think it's fun so I didn't mind. I got like $20 for 1/2 acre lawns per week. Not bad, it starts to add up quickly. 3 lawns a week is 60/week or 240/month!
