MathBook.
Pencil.
Paper.

LOL - MathBook! Is that the next generation of the MacBook? Those Pentium Processers sure can handle basic math! :D

Sorry, I couldn't resist that one. (And before anyone goes after me - yes, I know the Intel macs don't run on Pentium processors. The Core Duo CAN do math ;) :D )

Well, I'm 14 and I bought all of the following myself:
12" iBook G4 Stock 512MB RAM 40GB HD
Additional 1GB RAM Stick (making the total RAM 1.5GB)
iPod Mini 6GB Blue
iPod Dock
iSkin ProTouch for the iBook
iPod AC Adapter

I will post a picture once I've got my setup back on the desk. :)

I've never seen so many spoiled pre-teens. Kids here 12 and 13 with 4 or 5 different apple computers and multiple iPods?

Eventually you'll learn what it's like to live in the real world.

Well here is my setup. I'm currently 15 turning 16 in a few months.

(Click on pics for larger images but WARNING, IMAGES ARE LARGE (2-3MB))

In what I like to call, "Mac Mode" ;)

And here is my current background [In progress] I created with some of my favorite artists (click for larger):

Main PC:
Athlon 64 3500+
1GB OCZ DDR400 RAM
36GB 10,000RPM WD Raptor
(2x)160GB 7200RPM
(1x)200GB 7200RPM
Dual DVD Burners
Radeon 9600 XT 256MB
Radeon 7000 64MB (to drive the 3rd monitor ;) )
Windows XP Pro SP2

Main Laptop: (Not in pics)
Toshiba Satellite A65-S126
2.8Ghz Celeron
768MB RAM
60GB 5400RPM
Combo Drive
ATI Radeon 7000 Mobility 64MB
Windows XP Pro SP2

Main Mac:
Powermac G4 (PCI Graphics)
350Mhz G4
896MB RAM
120GB 7200RPM 8MB cache
Combo Drive
ATI Rage 128 16MB
OS X Tiger 10.4.4

The three monitors are the Dell 2005FPW 20" widescreen, a Dell 18" Ultrasharp, and a 15" Viewsonic ViewPanel VPA150 turned on its side in portrait mode.

Also in the pics (trying to remember everything) 5.1 Creative speaker set, webcam, Lexmark x75, Plantronics DSP-500 USB headset, hp photosmart 320 digicam, Microsoft Wireless Bluetooth Desktop and Microsoft Standard wireless desktop (for the mac), and a Beatles poster ;) Also, if you were wondering what the red flashing thing on the fron of my PC is, its an MDVA http://mashie.org/mdva/index.html and it is truely incredible. Here is a short video I took just to give you an idea of how it looks when I play music :)

http://www.baconmosnter.com/setup.AVI 3.04MB (It's encoded in Xvid .avi format)

The one thing I'm really looking to do is get a G4 iBook to replace my windows laptop so if anyone has any to sell or would be interested in trading for either my G4 PowerMac or Toshiba Laptop (plus cash of course) please IM me!

Thanks!

Many pre-teens and current teens with Macs buy them themselves. Only a few teens I know have had their parents layout the money for their computers.

Totally agreed Cait. I know you, like me had to put the hard yards in to afford our Mac and iPod's. I rarely see or hear about teens been given Mac's, they have all worked hard for them.
