Where the hell do you live that you're making thousands as a 14 year old? I don't think so buds. You live off your parents like leeches, just like I did at that age. Don't act independent; you're spoiled.

They dont understand. Themselves and maybe 10 of their friends "worked" for their computers and they see that as all teens doing the same. When in fact they are the minority, most kids do not work for their posessions. Then they still dont consider the fact that just because they worked for the money that doesnt mean their parents didnt help them...their parents provided food, clothes, shelter so that the kids could spend their money on gadgets instead of a mortagage or a car note. Either way it works out they are privledged if not spoiled, especially those with multiple computers and ipods. One computer, I dont see the problem with.rickvanr said:I agree with you, but you're about to feel the wraith of many preteens. I agree with you, come people can be naive as well. My parents philosophy was we'll pay half or all for sports stuff (like hockey and soccer equipment) and same goes for musical instruments like drums and guitars. But as far as electronics goes my parents have paid a total of 175$ from the time i got my gameboy to now where i have a 360 and a Hi def display with a mac mini coming in the mail. but i do think i am still spoiled, or just very fortunate, because i am fed well and live with a good family. many people are MUCH less fortunate and they don't even know what a computer is let alone a tv. in this society we have to take time to think about people that would take clean drinking water over a xbox 360 and all the macs in the world (not literally). so yea, just think about that when you tell your parents you want to buy another mac, or are constantly selling things you buy in spite.technicolor said:They dont understand. I see it as useless for me to have a car while in school, high school and (probably) college. Insurance costs waaaaay too much, as does gas (we Californians have higher-quality [or so I hear, at least environmental-standards-wise], ergo more expensive, stuff then the rest of you), and since my high school is on my dad's way to work, they give me a ride. They pay a bit of insurance for me to be on their cars as the tertiary (non-primary/secondary, yeah, I started the use of that term in this situation) driver, so I can take their cars if I need to go someplace (i.e. work) and it doesn't cost too much.
Since I don't spend any of my money on a car, I spend/save it on/for computer(s), peripherals, and college.

That's all I can think of. Some of you probably assume that I am a brat who just gets whatever he wants, but it isn't really like that, there's other stuff, and I appreciate what I get!
