I will very very very very soon get some pics, but so far you'll have to do with:
(see sig)

I'm 14 and just switched today.:D

I am so jealous of all these macbook owners. They make my powerbook look like a little slow computer.

I am hoping I'll be able to live with it for the next 2 years.

Here 'tis: My spitshine new MacBook:

14 and paid for it all, yes it's true, I didn't steal anything!:p

Nice! What job do you have? I'm working myself to death here delivering newspapers, and the payment is lousy. I'm getting another job.

I help people with their computers, and then I do a little gardenwork now and then. Pays okay. Took me quite a few years to save up, but I also just had my confirmation, which helped a bit:D

Thankyou:)
I like my MacBook to, but I've considered getting a new chair, and removing some of the ugly stuff (that giant white box behind the chair and the lamp, which I never use), yet my mom won't let me remove the lamp:(

I turned 17 in January. I posted this is in another thread, but since I'm under 18, might as well post here as well. Pretty much everything was paid by me. I got a job at 15 to save for a car. Bought my car last year. Between paying to keep fixing it and insurance/gas, I've been able to save some money to get this stuff.

46" Toshiba widescreen HD RPCRT
Toshiba DVD player
Dish 811 HD receiver
Xbox 360
Xbox
GCN
N64
NDS
PSP
30GB black video iPod
...and hopefully a new Intel Mac soon...:)

Well... Does this count?

I am almost 21 now, and this is my setup from when I was about 17-18. Anyways, No Apple equip. in that picture. I ran two cat-5 cables to every room in the house (including the kitchen) and ran them to a central closet where I had a 3com Switch. In my bedroom I had that rackmount box (running headless) with FreeBSD 4.1 at the time doing all of the following:

Apache (50 websites)
BIND (55 primary 30 secondary) (dns for thoes who don't know what bind is)
Mail (all of the primary www domains, 50, and a few backups)
Shoutcast (for my friends)
Firewall/Router for my internal network
FileServer for internal Network
MySQL/PHP
I had two video capture cards running two x-10 cameras that were in my front and back yard (hard wired to my closet then ran across the room to the server where it connected via video in). It was not a bad deal, Color/Video x-10 camera with 60 foot extend cable for like 50 bucks each?
I also messed around with alot of custom MRTG graphs that I wrote bash scripts for.

Anyways, I also had a Linux workstation running slackware, a Windows XP box, and 3 system bsd-cluster on the other side of the room doing misc tasks :) It was nice having a little 3 system powerhorse to crunch data.

All that on a 1500/1500 SDSL with a full Class C. Yes, I got delegated a full class C.

Now I have since moved that box to a colo facility, and have another network here at my apartment in Monterey. This picture I have is back in my hometown before I went to college.

Here in Monterey, I have the following.

My Week 20 2.0ghz 2gig Ram 100gig 7200RPM MacBook Pro (matte screen) Loving it.
Dell Inspiron 9100 w/two 300 gig hard drives (raid 0 setup). 2 gigs of ram, dual 2.8 intel, ATI x600 256 video card. Runs linux and Mac OS dual-boot only! No windows.
Then I have a FreeBSD 6.1 AMD 750 box with 1 gig of ram running as a firewall/router/fileserver. I have a 150 gig hard drive in it. It handles most of the storage needs for the users here (my girlfriend and myself).

That's about it. I am waiting for an intel powermac to come out :)

yah00z: That was one heck of a setup back then. It still is for that matter, especially for a 17-18 year old.

I will be posting my updated setup soon!

Wow that's week. My teacher could beat you by about 2 250GB HDDs.

EDIT: We are all tech-Mac junkies

Here's my new setup. Two new additions to my setup: the NEC MultiSync 17" LCD and the Motorola E815. Enjoy!
