I wouldn't say its great. We have two of those at the studio because they were kind of cheap and we only used it once because they're slow as hell when working with RAW files and PSDs. I'm sure they're fine for personal use though.backsidetailsli said:you have the same external hardrive that i just bought. 160 or 250?? i have the 250 and its great!

anyway, my setup
iMac G5 1.8, pre-isight (just barely), 1 gig Ram, 160gig HDD
eyeTV 200
plextor external DVDRW DL burner
LaCie Triple interface 250gig HDD (I really wish I had FW800)
Wacom 6X8 intuos2 tablet
crappy $100 HP all-in-one printer
4th gen 20gig iPod
Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S90 digital camera
cheapie ~$50 creative 2.1 speakers
Shure e4c earphones (for real listening)
Microsoft wireless Keyboard and Mouse
Crappy Sharp VHS player
Sony UX50 PDA (not pictured)
Ok now that thats over with. I was converted by the ipod I got as a present and when I became the admin for the small Mac section of the school's computer lab. I am not some big time video editor like hotwire, but I am the resident director/composer/editor for the Football Team's highlight tape (I'm one of the players and the reason for having Final Cut Studio (last year I did it in iMovie and I wanted my Senior one to be really good) and the external HDD). I also compete in a yearly competition featuring vector art, hence the tablet. I am fluent in Freehand, Corel Painter, and less so in Photoshop.
thats all folks

the axiom is one of the top of the line keyboards by m-audio. the keys are semi weighted to feel alot like a piano and less keyboardish. its fully programmable. it has a drumpad, i think its great.storage said:How do you like that Axiom keyboard?
