Hmmm I'm currently thinking about the GALANT 160 by 80 cm version plus that drawer unit for my printer (an Epson Stlyus C86 btw), but I'm still looking for the perfect solution. I wouldn't need a pull-out desl because I usually keep books and stuff organized and can afford to have up to 3 books on the table at once without great clutter. I suppose it would be different for you because of the large footprint of your MBP. I'm trying to reclaim a couple of inches of my desk space by mounting the monitor on some kind of VESA mount. I'll post pictures sometime. Maybe when I get the GALANT.

The JONAS is amazing. It's very heavy duty and it looks very 'icelandic' (don't ask me why, it just has that kind of feel)...

I'm really glad I chose this desk! The little side drawer unit thing is really good too. Just make sure you put the screws for the drawer sliders in on the right side! :p

I'm going to ask an unrelated question but how do you have something different on your external monitor to whats on the screen on your MBP?
 
When you hook up an ext. display, and choose a different background, a duplicate of the window shows up on the other display so you can set 2 different wallpapers.

It's quite fiddly, but as shotglass says, it gives you two seperate windows, one on each screen. It's sometimes a bit glitchy though...
 
New desk arrived today, just a chair, iCurve, and speakers to get now.

Every time I look at this thread and you say the desk name I get "My name is Jonas" by Weezer in my head, for the day. :p

I like that your desk is completely wire-free, however be prepared for either having wires on the desk, or somehow hide then once you get speakers :D ;)

:eek: What did it look like before? You still have work to do. Get some fabric or posters to cover up the walls or something.

well the desk was where the table is and had a pile of stuff next to it and just about everywhere but, i can finally move around my room, today its the walls that are going to get a clean and tomorrow in gonna try and make the cables go away or at least make them look neater

I'm pretty sure I want to go hide in a corner and never come out after seeing those walls, and to think it was once worse- horrifying.
