Another member on Android Central mentioned that this screen protector works with no lifting maybe there is hope for other screen protectors not lifting with cases
I wish it didn't have that pinhole cutout for the camera.

What material is the kindsuit case made of? I assume it's a vegan leather but could not find any material info for it.

i gave in and just ordered one just before midnight for my upcoming Taylor Swift Eurotrip and my flight back home to Mexico City in december 😅 with my 100€ discount voucher and trade in of an old A52, I paid 1.649€ instead of 1.999€.

time to figure out how to get my contacts, calendar and photos ready from iPhone to Android
If you or anyone else haven't yet migrated from iPhone to Amdroid ...

Ensure your contacts calendar and photos are on device and NOt remaining only in Icloud (pica ans vids in particular but you can download those on major PC)

Most importantly are online account logins!
If you have ANY implemented into Icloud Relay change them immediately before migration! Those will NOT transfer over ans with no ios or iPad or Mac you'll not be able to retrieve them even via Icloud.
Enhanced Encryption Protecrion disable else NOTHING can be transfered and if you get rid of your iPhone in this state you cannot login to icloud eithout the Mac, iPad or iOS to get MFA to device push notifications to sign into icloud. This dies NOT use 2FA via sms!!

Safari Bookmarks get transfered to Samsung Internet ONLy and your folder structure of Bookmarks if more than 1 level deep get all screwed up all over! Export them aa HTML file ans import to browser of choice that allows sync on PC 1st.

Finally during the Samsung Smart Switch transfer BOTH Source Phone and Target phones MUST have Screwn LOCK disabled else data transfer will fail right at the point of screen lock.

Yup I think so

I was looking at the Benks case but the colors on back had me iffy with it

Dayum!
This case looks the 007 part!
Seems that the entire industry is now following Pitaka's lead with thin Aramid Fibre cases and especially colour weaving. This is the first I've seen using Kevlar!

You planning on joining the next crew of Secret Service to dive in faster for executive staff protections using this as personal insurances lol?

The design of this case screams influence from Pitaka's 2yrs old Galaxy and iPhone cases especially the Flip around the camera!

Oh, I agree... Samsung needs a silo for an S-Pen. However, it's kind of difficult situation when they want to make the device thinner along with adding more battery to it.

But on the larger screen topic, do you change your Minimum Width in developer settings?

Honestly I don't think thinness would affect an S-Pen silo implementation if the Fold is no thinner than 2.5mm than it is currently - else the S-Pen would be just too skinny for ergonomic effectiveness for writing or drawing. I mean we're not preschoolers and I have small man hands but not THAT small. The S24 Ultra's S-Pen is pushing it and I prefer small hotel like pens to write with vs those Bic pens you see all over high-schools.

The just released cutaway of the ZFold 6 shows the main 3D sandwich PBA as being WAY too big with a skinny elongated vapor chamber compared to the Z Flip 6!
I highly doubt an extra 512GB more storage, Samsung Dex and 6GB more RAM needs that much more space?!

Samsung could make the PBA as small as the Flip 6' and that'll immensely allow for a smaller vapor chamber that has more surface are volume coverage (even using BOTH sides of the PBA) allowing for a larger main battery AND to implement the S-pen silo!

Samsung could've done this without affecting anything else I think but I feel with Tim Rohs recent quote were going to see radical new device designs not unlike what good old Nokia used to dare to make!

Ps just please Samsung no lipstick phones! Lol

Are you into swipe typing? I use a combination of split and floating keyboard (only with the S-Pen) on the inner screen.

Ditto! And I resize the keyboard… making it a bit smaller.
How do you, if at all, use swipe effectively using a split keyboard? Can you do this with 2 thumbs doing the swipe?! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Haha I do like them Aramid cases. This one is leather like a smooth feeling case. I do plan on scooping up another case maybe Aramid in a different color

Well, you basically answered how thinness would affect S-Pen silo implementation…. with how skinny S-Pen would be to accommodate the design of thinner Fold.

I was on Reddit and one user realized that the newest S-Pen were skinny and they didn’t care to use it. And I still own the Fold 3/4 size pens… they have better girth to them imo, I had bought the S-Pen Pro (later returned) and it matches the Apple Pencil in terms of size.

But some reason I just prefer the size of the Fold 3/4 S Pens... I could have kept the S-Pen Pro and sold away the Fold Edition S Pen (wouldn’t get much). If they made a S-Pen Pro the size of a Fold 3/4…. it would be a day one purchase and I don’t really care for a silo if that means sacrificing battery life.

How do you, if at all, use swipe effectively using a split keyboard? Can you do this with 2 thumbs doing the swipe?! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well, I don’t use swipe on the split keyboard… it was more for the post I was responding to since they refuse to use split keyboard. I do use swipe for the floating keyboard on the inner screen and keyboard on the outer (cover display).

Once my outside screen protector comes in I'm going to go caseless.. phone feels great with no case on it... The Samsung case fits awesome but the lip just irritates me when I'm trying to do my gestures from the corner in closed position.. most cases irritate me from the corner lol.. I think the aramid case was the only one that was a non-issue on previous phones..

I thought this was neat guide to show users examples of the new features…. one thing I took from it, it’s better to have Show Air command icon always visible and tap on it. Because sometimes when I press the button it doesn’t register.

Finally got all set up late last night and getting to use it a bit this morning. First thing, the outer screen is noticeably better to me as far as ease of use and typing than I remember with the previous Folds I had (1-4). The screens are much brighter and vibrant as well. I love how thin they have made it and the new squared off edges make it much more sleek than the previous versions. When closed, I still like the Pixel Fold better dimensionally. Google really knocked it out of the park here. Both devices feel like premium devices until you open them up. That's where the Z Fold 6 really separates itself from the PF. From the hardware itself to the software its just a much more premium experience. So far it definitely feels like a keeper to me. I need to get some camera usage in to see how it measures up to the PF. The PF was the first foldable I had where I didn't feel like I was sacrificing too much with the cameras.

Slighty off topic question, but does anyone primarily use wireless charging pads/stands for their phones? I'm looking for a good wireless charging recommendation for the fold. I've had some bad luck in the past with the random off-brand Amazon pads ruining the phone over time.

Any feedback would be appreciated!
