Oh crap, forgot about the base prices for the machines!
I only have them in Euro!

24-inch with 3.1GHz i3
€1,199.00

27-inch with 3.3GHz i3
€1,629.00

Quad 27-inch with 3.3GHz i5
€1,999.00

30-inch with Xeon
€2,699.00

I've no idea what it's going to be in EUR.

This is a glimpse of the webpage of the Store.

Nice try, mister, but a 24" iMac would have a 1920x1200 resolution. Apple would never release a screen that big at just 1920x1080.

And that 'screenshot' from the 'website' looks totally fake. It doesn't have that professional Apple touch. APRIL FOOLS!

Even if he got fired the ugly way he would be sued to bankruptcy if he speaks about ongoing actions...

And hes way to chatty...

April fools it must be ;)

Also, why is there only a 500gb hard drive in the base 27"?

Wouldn't there be more at that price?

Why is that? There are plenty of monitors in that size range that are 1080 pixels high. Apple has switched to doing 16:9 in a couple of their products (11" MBA, both current iMacs) so it's not entirely impossible to have a 16:9 1080p iMac. Granted it would be the same resolution as the current 21.5", but still.

Oops, I'm sorry.

a) "quad core" logo is not aligned with the 30 inch as it is currently (with the 27 inch)

b) try redoing that in photoshop - you missed the "financing available" at the bottom

c) try adding the "1" superscript next to 1 TB or 500 GB hard drive

d) try conveniently (NOT) censoring the rest of the webpage and offering a "glimpse"... in other words, spend an extra hour or two working on the entire iMac page in photoshop to entertain us

Uh oh. Looks like someone made a mistake.. or four. See you on the flip side :)

1080 is television resolution.... way too skanky for apple @ 24 inches. Simply would not be taken seriously as a product. Apple may aswell change its name to skank-monitors-are-us

I like the specs, but I don't really see Apple getting rid of the 21.5"... It seems a far too perfect size for desk footprint and screen real estate!

Edit:

Damn, April 1st.

Oops; you were doing quite well up to now. I'd recognise Photoshop's (rubbish) text rendering a mile off.

I advise you search for a certain Mac Mini thread that was assumed fake by our resident PS 'experts'.

*Not saying I believe the OP.

Plus surly the top end 27 or 30 incheres would have a 16x superdrive and there's no mention of thunderbolt on any of them. we assume TB will be included in some of the new iMacs' and even if it's included across the entire range surly apple would mention it. (thinking column inches and free press).

Oh yeah..... 8 minutes to go

I love how the baseline 27 inch on his image has a 500gb hard drive, while the baseline and even upper end 21.5 inch iMacs currently have 1tb hard drives. Pretty good!

The 30 inch also reverts to the old 16:10 ratio while the 24 inch stays at 1920x1080 and not back to its old 1920x1200 resolution too! So dope!

Nice april fools.

Sheesh, I'm not a web dev, but even I can make a better fake page (edit: fixed format)

Sheesh, I'm not a web dev, but even I can make a better fake page (not perfect, especially the links under the iMac image, but that was five minutes work)

I like how the word "inch" from 24 inch spilled over to the next line under the iMac image :p

If this is somewhat true, it's a bit dissapointing. How can they still use intel i3? And radeon 5series?

They should go with i5 dual core minimum and maybre radeon 6450 512mb in the low end base imac

But i can save some more for 30" imac if this is somewhat happening

I hope apple not giving us april fools, you know like they announce it on apple website and remove it 1 day after lol

Omit the "This is a fake" from that page, and replace the "MacBook Pro" up top with "Powerbook G5" - keep the long running joke alive. ;)
