Finding the 16 Pro to be more comfortable on my eyes, sinus and head than the 14 Plus was.

Just upgraded this week. Really finding it to be a big upgrade / difference in quality and comfort.

Buying a new iPhone when PWM-sensitive is a hassle and a half.

Do we have definitive frequency/modulation comparisons?

Oddly iPhone 15 Plus wasn’t the worst, whereas using iPhone 15 to setup an Apple Vision Pro gave me immediate migraines.

In terms of size and features I really took a liking to the iPhone 16 Pro: Apple knocks it out of the park on incremental upgrades that shouldn’t feel as significant as they do. It was okay for a minute or two before I started noticing headaches, but I was also cycling between all four models.

yes I have the same because the base models have low frequencies but better modulation than the pros. I saw the 17 line up will use a newer and a thinner OLED display. But no word about flickering or pwm.
By frequency I was referring specifically to the amount of times it’s used throughout the day. Usually an iPhone that starts as not so bad turns into the typical PWM travesty.

After using the iPhone Xs with the LCD screen for a while, I'm pretty convinced to buy a black iPhone 16 next month after seeing a good number of positive reports. I hope I will be the next one to say that's usable without major issues :)

I've tested the iPhone 16 Pro and must say, that I also don't have any issues with this device at the moment. Looks like the new display technology going down to 1 nit is helping somehow?!

There is definitely some sort of change to the brightness controller since the display gets significantly dimmer at the same brightness levels. I noticed that in Apple they were also all set to around 75% by default rather than 100% as they would typically be in a store environment.

I've been testing the 16 base for the last week and a half and although symptoms are mild I think its going back. Tried turning brightness to 100%, white point to 80%, true tone and night shift off, privacy screen protector and still just have heavy eyes and mild nausea with around 3 hours of screen time.

Ill prob try the pro or pro max when we get some stock. I have had the same symptoms with 12 pro and 13 mini. If the pro is a no go then might go the iPad Air M2 so I get a new device around the office and house.

Been 15 days using iphone 16plus as my main device and its the first time after iphone X that i am able to use something , But i can't go below 85% brightness since thats when the modulation starts to rise , so i use it at 85% with reduced white point 70%. Also i tried 16 pro but i had to return due to eye strain and headache and it has much more modulation than base 16.

So the 16 non pro is much better than 15 pro and 16 pro, or am I wrong?
No way of knowing if it works for you without testing for yourself (everyone's sensitivity is different).

For example, 16PM was ok for me for two days - 16 Plus horrible after 10 minutes.

I will order 15 pro, if it doesnt work out I may just settle for my old 13 pro..still considering standard 16.

I’m still on the hunt for a new phone, the CMF 1 phone wasn’t good for me 😬 unfortunately my iPhone 11 bid giving me dry eyes etc hoping the Moto 75G does the job when it’s released

I would suggest the xiaomi 14t pro. I saw on Reddit a very detailed review about it. And it seems like a very good display for people like us
