Farewell my friend. Were it not for the following, I likely would have kept you:
1) Week WiFi compared to every other device I own
2) WiFi dropping out and asking to re-input security credentials.
3) Safari forcing a refresh of websites when there should be no need. Load up your favorite gadget blog, open three articles from the main page on separate pages, and voila, all the pages start refreshing whenever you look at them. Why???!!!!! Ill be really curious to see if this is a hardware limitation of the low memory or is fixable with software.
4) Youtube not working sometimes. Just odd .
5) Not a single game changing or innovative app. I know its only 1.5 weeks in and theres a whole lot more to come, but no interactive magazines? No NYTimes full issue subscriptions? Wheres the magic?
If they can fix 1-3 with either a software or hardware update, Ill buy another one. Number 5 is sure to be resolved sometime soon. As it stands now though, with the above problems and the little buddy occupying an odd and non-essential space between iPhone and laptop, its just not worth having around.
The complete ease with which the manager waived the restocking fee makes me think Im not alone.
