The 5G nano would've REALLY been something in a 32 gig flavor. I was hoping so hard for that to come true last September. :(

Ditto. I'm so disappointed they turned it into a little touchscreen square... That thing was amazing. *cries*

From all the iPods I own (iPod Touch 4G, iPod Video 5G, iPod Nano 1G and iPod Nano 2G) my favourite is the iPod Nano 2G. It is the best sounding Rockbox DAP. I have a Sansa Clip+ and Fuze rockboxed but IMHO the Nano 2G sounds much better with Rockbox. My iPod Video 5G sounds awesome too rockboxed but it is a bit on the big side to carry about unlike the Nano.

For apps and music making on the go my iPod Touch is my favourite but for sound quality its my rockboxed iPod Nano 2G:)

I've had the iPod Photo 30GB, the iPod Video 60GB, the iPod nano 5th gen Red, and the 2nd gen iPod touch.

The Nano is still my favorite one though.

The latest generation iPod Classic hands down. It's the direct descendent of the device that became my gateway into Apple products in general. Plus, my two year-old Classic is by far the best iPod I've had (besides the 40gb iPod Photo that died a couple of days ago :( )

Whichever has the most space. Right now, it's the classic. (Hopefully it will continue to be the classic...Apple better not stop updating it!)

My beloved iPod 3rd Generation 20GB, with Apple Remote, vintage Original Apple headphones and DC Shoes/INCASE Sleeve for iPods :) :) :)
