But this brings up a new question that I tried answering:

Is a millionaire more justified in owning the iPhone X because his usage is for a more grandeur lifestyle (such as taking photos with his model friends and checking up on his million dollar bank accounts)

VS

A guy who works a minimum wage job who only takes photos of his cat.

Would the second guy be more justified in buying a $500 Android?

A multimillionaire could care less about his phone as it's worth is just pocket change to them. You are still missing the whole point. Millionaires have better things to do than obsess about their phones. They are in a different world than the one you are in.

Maybe.

What I’m asking is that is the millionaire more justified in owning the iPhone X than the minimum wage cat owner?

Couldn’t the minimum wage owner get the one plus T?

The lowly burger flipping McDonald's worker should be happy with blurry pictures of his cat. His greasy hands will probably smudge the lens anyway. The millionire has more of a need for sharp quality pictures of his Ferrari and model girlfriend. He shouldn't have to stoop down to touch a crappy Android.

It’s an iPhone and does the same thing as any other iPhone. If you’ve bought an iPhone or any other phone, you deserve to use it. I have to say this whole topic borders on the ridiculous to be honest.

Ok this is what I was wondering. Thanks.

I truthfully think you’re going overboard with your thread. The reality is very simple, anyone can afford an iPhone X that has decent credit and doesn’t necessarily even to have stable income. It’s not justified for the exclusive or wealthy, it applies to anybody who wants one.

There really wasn't much to begin with, and it's just been mostly a lot of roundabout back and forth filling up pages about nothing much in particular.

Bottom line is this:

If someone can afford a iPhone X, the monthly payment, it doesn’t matter WHAT they use it for, be it photos of their cat or their model friends.

Multi-millionaire here. Please stop making assumptions about how we think. Just ask me and I’ll tell you.

I disagree. Wealthy people tend to be more discerning with their cash which is why they are wealthy. I can comfortably afford an iPhone X, but I feel like it’s a step down to a smaller screen from my iPhone 7 Plus, which I have no reason to upgrade yet.

A fool and his cash are easily parted.

OP’s original comment is pretty much true in India. It actually costs about CAD$2K for the iPhone X. And only people who are filthy rich carry them around. I was told that it’s more of a social status symbol to carry it around. Normal people still buy phones that are expensive around CAD$600-800

But here in western world pretty much anyone can buy it.

Wondering when you would show up, you been on your private yacht somewhere?

A bit bored with the iPhone X, it's just a necessary tool to me right now whereas it was an exciting toy a few months back. Not seeing the need to bicker or gloat now that it's been confirmed the biggest success in smartphone history.

I took an extended Carribean vacation and purchased three Rolexes this Spring and that has me preoccupied. We are packing for the trip to the beach house right now. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend.

Just the Caribbean? And just Rolexes (and only three)?

Guess if you buy a $1570aud phone for insta/fb and wattsap sure.

Personally i run my business off my iPhone X and have a free call no attached to it, i am no millionaire but it earns me a 6 figure income, so is a tax right off and a small cost in the scheme of things.
Good Camera, nice screen, and call quality/reception is important for me, which the X provides.

The richest guy I know of is a multi-millionaire, he doesn't even have a phone I don't think. Is always followed by a team of people anyway.

I’m not really talking about the millionaires with a personal hair stylist, a team of chefs, 3 secretaries, 9 personal assistants, and 25 people in their enteourage lol.

Nor am I talking about that stingy millionaire who drives a used Buick, wears the same polo since 1972, and uses an iPhone 6.

I’m talking about your average millionaire with a normal life just better. Maybe a nicer car, bigger parties, fancier dinners, more lavish vacations, and some impressive model friends.

That is so many people that you're going to have people with the biggest X there is, and there will be people using a Nokia 3310.

My father uses an SE, he's technically a millionaire if you consider his properly portfolio.
