For those who ordered the ATI 4850....

I ordered on march 7 and my Imac (with the ati card, of course) is now shipped!! I could not belive it. the thing is now though if shipment will be delayed due to the holidays coming up? Will UPS, whom they used last time, be doing transport during the weekend? Or should i be prepared to wait 5-6 business days which is the usual shipment period to Sweden?

Presumably by being dishonest. Getting an educational discount just requires that you are a college student/faculty, or elementary/HS faculty.
Online, you simply select which you are and then you select what school you are associated with. I work in a HS and I am still in college, so I just pick whatever I feel inclined to. I've probably purchased as a college student, and then as a HS teacher, and then again as a college student, and I've never had any issues. While I believe they reserve the right to check (there's a bunch of fine print), they don't really look into it that I know.
To get the discount in person (at the store), you just need an ID (or paystub, as thats what my gf used to get her Macbook) that shows you meeting either of the criteria I mentioned above.

What country are you located in? Seems so far that only Non-US orders have shipped
If they are leaving warehouses tonight then you would think that a few people with over night shipping would have them tomorrow.

Call them up and complain about the delay and they will give you overnight shipping. Sounds like you paid for expedited shipping (Fast Shio)????
I just called and the person I talked to had no further information other than they are shipping in the order taken. I pushed him a little and he could say nothing other that was shows on my status. So the question out there is what date and time did those who received notice of shipment order the iMac. He also mentioned mine was shipping from the US... I do not think he had any real information as I asked if he could confirm that they were in fact shipping and he said no... So I will continue to wait for the email he said I would receive.....

::edit:: I called - they didn't proactively offer it. I said it doesn't take a month from you guys usually,is there anything you can do for me. He said nothing, but then i just asked if they could upgrade my shipping and he said he's be happy to do so.
