Did you see that your mac had been shipped on April 11th on your Apple order status page ?

If yes, then you just have to click on this very same status page on a grey button called something like "Track your order" ("Suivre cette expédition" in French) and you will have access to a lot of things including a tracking number related to UPS. You can use this tracking number on UPS.com to see where your mac is at the moment. I guess it should be already somewhere in France by the time being.

J'espère que cela te sera utile.:D

Our list is growing. . . anybody else?
PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT LOCATION YOU ARE LOCATED IN ? WHAT PART OF THE UNITED STATES?

Just got the message last night that my iMac shipped last night and Fedex tracking says I should be receiving today (even though I did not pay for expedited shipping):

3.06GHZ / ATI RADEON HD 4850 / with numeric keyboard

The computer shipped from California and I'm in New York. I ordered it on March 9th and was originally given a shipping date of April 20 and a "receive by" date of April 24.

Ordered Mar 19
SHIPPED APR 15

I was originally quoted a ship date of today the 16th. I should have it on tues next week!
I'm in Pittsburgh

Ordered March 3 USA 3.06 8540
Shipped April 9 CA
Delivered April 10 MA

Died on April 14
Returned April 15
In Limbo April 16..

I was told by Sales person on April 14 that the replacement would be given priority treatment and overnight shipping. Received email from Apple with RMA within minutes. 19 hours later I received the Shipping label from FedEx for return of deceased iMac. Drove to FedEx on April 15 and dropped off iMac and entered into FedEx system 9:52 AM EDT.

I was told by several Apple reps that as soon as they received confirmation that FedEx had the iMac they would release the new one into production and I would see update on my order status. As of last evening there was no change so I called again (4th time) and was now told I have to wait until the iMac physically is received at the return facility (scheduled for April 17) according to FedEx tracking. I inquired why I was told differently by several other reps and he said they were incorrect in saying that. After further discussion he says the hold was released on build of the new system by support management and it should be in the process of being built.

At this point I figured I was banging my head against the wall and would check in the morning as assuredly the iMac would be built and the status would change and just possibly I would receive it by Friday, April 17. No such luck.... nothing has changed.

So I say to myself..... Self, you have learned 3 things from this experience

1. Apple products are not perfect.

2. Apple support is great and they are very pleasant BUT they do not have a real insight into what is actually going on.

3. I have to be patient, enjoy the upcoming weekend, and get ready to watch the Boston Marathon on Monday...

I assume you meant 4850? and if you did how in the world did you get this on the 10th?????

my shipping notification

I've been following this thread for a long time. I ordered my iMac on March 6th (it took me a few days to decide what configuration I wanted). It was originally scheduled to ship on the 17th and arrive on the 23rd.

Yesterday I got a shipping notification from Apple saying my iMac shipped April 15th, and was scheduled to arrive in Provo UT, on April 21st. I just checked my FedEx tracking number this morning, and now it says it's scheduled to arrive on the 17th. I hope it stays that way.

I ordered this:
2.93 GHz
ATI 4850
1 TB hard drive
4GB RAM
iWork preinstalled

Just sharing the info.

Yes, I'm sure gasport meant the 4850.

I too ordered my 3.06 4850 iMac on the morning of March 3rd. Mine was delivered last Friday April 10th (to Massachusetts USA, with overnight shipping). I have been enjoying it ever since! No freezes, just fast action. :)

Mine was shipped yesterday with the 22nd as the estimated delivery, and FedEx just changed the delivery estimate to the 18th. whooo hooooo

No it does not!

Alright, I'm not going to clog this thread up anymore with this pointless line of argument, this'll be my last post on this topic. All i will say is that if you want to nitpick something that obviously even Apple doesn't think is important enough to address, be my guest. I'll go and do something more productive with my time.

so im a lil ticked off.... as i called last week to find out about my computer and was told that it was shipping... (by the way i ordered from an apple certified seller) i was told that if i didnt receive a call by the 15th that i could call and get a tracking number... so i did... i was then told that i would have to call back on the 16th (today) cause they didnt have the tracking number for me yet... so i called back today and was told that right now my imac is being assembled and that it is being placed in priority shipping and that they dont know why it was never really shipped, but that i should get it now by April 21st!!!! WTF!!! this is really getting retarded... and im wondering if because of everyone complaining and getting there status moved up to overnight shipping if thats bumping all the ppl who havent called and complained with regular shipping to later dates!!?!?! is this possible? im pissed i was hoping to have it by this weekend... grrrrr  so annoyed

That is a Bummer. Keep us informed of your situation.

Ok I went through this thread and no doubt missed alot of people, but the list below is who I see that has ordered in March and has not had their status changed from Not Shipped Yet to Prepared for shipping or Shipped. I only listed people I think are located in the USA. So if you are in the list and not from USA, let us know. This is just a status check for outstanding orders of any speed Ghz iMac as long as they have a 4850 option.

fezzik22 - ordered 3/4
barefeats - ordered 3/5
straleno - ordered 3/8
Hoya1 - ordered 3/9 Shipped 4/15
Naptime - ordered 3/16
blackbow - ordered 3/17
maj3stic - ordered 3/17
Vandeetz - ordered 3/17
madredhatter22 - ordered 3/18
viva la ban - ordered 3/19 Shipped 4/15
Prolif1k - ordered 3/21
MTShipp - ordered 3/22
Omni Geno - ordered 3/26
Krogren - ordered 3/29
Thecityatnight - ordered 3/29
WizardHunt - ordered 3/30
jmpage2 - ordered 4/1

If I missed anyone let us know post your name to the list or start another one. The above people are still waiting for their iMacs and to my knowledge are located in the USA. If you are not located in the USA your name was not put on this list. Reason: I think there is more delay in the USA than anywhere else.

PLEASE STATE YOUR LOCATION WHEN WANTING TO BE ADDED TO THIS LIST SO I KNOW YOU ARE LOCATED IN THE USA. THANKS!

Note some shipped already and keep in mind these are iMacs being shipped to USA.

I really don't think that the fact that some are moved up to overnight shipping will not have any bearing on when it is assembled. But I understand how you feel. It seems that a lot of people are getting a lot of empty promises and no action. But the assembly of the iMacs are not being changed or should not be changed that is. Only the shipping after they are assembled. You are in limbo that is for sure. Sorry to hear that.

Here is a updated list.

This whole thing is REALLY starting to bug me.

My first Apple purchase was mar 4. My iMac w ATI 4850 not even configured yet, let alone delivered. Starting to rethink this purchase. The only thing Apple has going for it is OS X (which will be obsolete due to Snow Leopard upgrade in a month or so).

So far I hate the whole Apple experience, and haven't even had the opportunity to play with it (and spent $2700+ almost 2 months ago). I had to pay cash for a gift card (don't have any credit cards at these interest rates), and am therefore unable to get my full $ back.

You fanboys enjoy your purchase (if it ever arrives)...For me it looks increasingly like a one-way trip right back to windows.

I'm thinking of Calling apple today, and seeing what they can tell me about it. Might as well add another frustrated customer to the list of people who have called in. BTW, Wizard, Order date correct, and I'm in Oklahoma, USA. No change as of now.
