The info that I have says that the Vegas Apple Store is getting "around 40" Cartons of IPHONES today.


So if it is "20 to 30" Iphones per carton, that would put it pretty close to the "1000 IPhones" estimate for APPLE stores that we have been hearing.

Can anyone else confirm?

From the youtube video here, it looks like 10 phones per carton - so 400 phones for the LV Apple store. In that video, we see 1000 phones (100 cartons) being delivered to the SOHO store. It looks like the 300,000 numbers are starting to look better, maybe on the high side (250,000 units perhaps).

Guess I'll have to wait a couple of years before getting an iPhone. Right now it doesn't do basic phone functionality (except make calls).

but iPhone does that as well ... and more

Maybe voice dialing? But I wouldn't consider that part of basic functionality ... and even then that's only one feature.
