Thank you for explanation.
About data slots in stock Apple app - I have 6 lines of data on AW Ultra and it's perfectly readable. So I thing 1 or 2 extra lines would be perfectly fine 🙂.
I'm using distance goal pretty often. There aren't cycle routes, so I get notified when I'm in half way, so I can turn around and run back.

For this specific use case, it's possible to use interval planning with target distance.
It's not really designed for this usage but it works.
To be honest, if I plan to run 15km, I watch my AW enough times to know when to go back :D
I dont't need high precision for such workouts, that's why I haven't planned to add that.

I have pushed a new build in TestFlight with warning before the end also for distance segments and an halfway alert for all types of intervals.
These alerts are disabled by default and set per interval.
I have also included some bug fixes

Version 4.0.3 is waiting for validation before being available on TestFlight.
Not a lot of visible features or changes, but I have completely reviewed the app architecture to optimize performances and battery usage.

Changelog:
- Apple Watch app has been improved to be more responsive and to optimize battery performance.
- You can now toggle the map orientation while running directly with the top right icon. Select North or course map orientation.

It's now available on the App Store with the previous changeling and an additional feature: when you are in pause (or speed = 0) the map follow compass heading to help orientation.
Enjoy !

There is an issue in this update.
People who install it can't upgrade from free to pro version.
No problem for people who have already upgraded.
I try to push a fix tomorrow.

Sorry for this disturbance.

I found out about the app on YouTube, and I must say I tried it, loved it, and purchased the pro version.

Correcting distance feature has been very helpful!
One request/question though - I was running a 5k race (5x1km lap), and AW always was a bit behind, in the end recording 4.83 km, while it was 5k official race. I have corrected the distance every lap on YouRace, and that is the time/pace/5k distance I can see in YouRace, but what uploaded to Strava is 4.83km, and the PB I set (29:24) is not recognized in Strava, nor regular AW achievements since AW recorded 4.83.... so,

1) Is there a way for corrected distance to be the "official distance"?
2) Have you considered adding Personal Bests (that would use the corrected distance)

Thanks!

The fixed version is under Apple review before being released.

It’s not possible to change the distance with the fixed distance. It would require to modify all GPS points and distance samples with big risks of losing coherence.
The fixed distance is mainly here to use it during race and avoid bad surprises with missed targets.
In Strava, you can try to fix the distance afterwards.
For your second question, it’s not planned yet… maybe one day.

Far enough!

Only other suggestion would be that the voice messages (pace read-out) I got during the run while listening to the music were very low volume. Not sure if I can adjust that - is that Siri voice volume?

Thanks for the reply and great small little app.

I think message volume depends on Siri voice volume.
It's not very clear, Apple mixer settings are a bit confusing.
I will check that.

Unfortunately no, for different reasons:
- I don't have a Stryd
- my user base is small, and the part of my user base interested in Stryd is even smaller
So it's too expensive, too complex for my capacity.
I have to make choices and develop features that are really used.

My next feature in internal test is a new display theme for AW Ultra. It has been requested to display more data on this larger screen.
So now, you can setup your screens to have one more line of data:
Capture d’écran 2023-12-22 à 16.28.12.png

I don't plan to add it to other watches as it's less readable, but it's feasible...

I have pushed a new release in TestFlight.
Same features, but some bug fixes and technical upgrades in target management.
If all goes as expected, it's the release candidate.
