Just stop, I'm getting really bored with repeating myself to you. No your experience with iPhones isnt sufficient to make any kind of statement about them so quit it.

Its more than enough. I've had a 3GS and 4S for months as spares, I also use an iPad daily and I often use my colleague's 6, so I have plenty experience with iOS in itself on multiple devices, I have recently updated to 8.1.2, the 6 Plus is the one I have simply tried in store, unless the 6 Plus is significantly different in terms of OS, I have a good idea of how it is. I find iOS in general less productive, manily use my iPad as a big digital calender and browser. I once tried to do documents on it, but my GS3 at the time did a better job.

Sorry to burst your bubble but my experience with iPhones in general is very extensive, and even more so with iPads.

Go on, move the yardstick again...

Wouldn't worry about the future proof of the note 4. Same processor as the nexus 6. Both phones will be fine for two years.

Well said, future proofing is more illusive by the month given the warp speed of development.

I have the iPhone 6+, Nexus 6 and Note 4, these are each very outstanding phones. I like variety and both platforms a lot.

However if I was limited to only one it would be the Nexus 6 due to the fact that there's so much the New Android Lollipop OS can do that iOS cannot. At least for my heavy usage pattern, and the workflow I have.

Damn you have all 3? How is the battery life and screen on your nexus compared to the note 4? If I go android it will be one of the two.

Yes I'm a Smartphone addict that uses them constantly and truly enjoys variety. After one year with my excellent Note 3, I do like it's display. The Note 4 display is also nice, but I prefer the more realistic colours of the Nexus 6, plus the additionally sharpness.

Given the rapid updates that are pushed directly from Google, and the longer battery life demonstrated by my Nexus 6 , I endorse the Nexus as most pleasant to use, faster, ergonomically the most comfortable, and the best value with its lower price.

Last year I enjoyed great functionality and speed from my Nexus 5, hence the Nexus line suits me best.

That screen is so close to perfection if it wasn't for its really low max brightness. :(

Well display mate rated the note 4 in basic mode as the best display they've tested on a smartphone. Did you change display modes?

The nonsense is when you insinuate the features and sarcastic digs you make are relevant to others when it's clear they are not.

This isn't about phones though is it? For you it's about capitalising on an 'us and them' mentality and sadly there are quite a few others with the same agenda. Yes it's nonsense.

Who are you to decide whether my points are relevant to others? Don't be cheap and try to play judge here.

And I have never hide what I like unlike some here who pretend and clandestinely root for one particular phone.

Ultimately this is a versus thread. Maybe you should ask the mod to close all such threads and use your rhetoric "everyone should be happy as every phone is the best according to what you believe and want"

Galaxy Note 4 or iPhone 6 Plus for the next two years?

no, that's what it turned into. There was a point early on where sensible discussion of merits of both were being written, but then it was hijacked by users with chips on their shoulder and insecurity issues and subsequently descended in tone to just silly flamebaiting by certain posters ....

As the OP has bought their device at this stage and no longer contributes , the thread no longer serves a purpose. I'm asking a mod to close.

Why not just ignore it if it irks you so? Can't even handle seeing the name as you browse through the forum? Who cares?

That's the goal of trolls to spread FUD and silence facts. If he's bothered so much by facts he should leave.

When confronted with facts you don't like you just wish them to give up or just disappear with your sarcastic one liner response (which you always like to use when the heat is on) . . That's not witty but cowardice.

Hey Tsepz,
Image

As well as a 3GS, a 6 and iPad, but we'll ignore all that just to desperately try suit your point, lol.

You said my experience with iPhones is insufficient, now that I invalidated that, you have a problem with the models, yardstick moved again.

Carry on, this is entertaining...

Nah, I've moved on from wasting my time on fanboys.

Facts are only relevant if they are considered for both options and you've demonstrated time and time again that you have no interest in a comparison. You've turned this into versus thread as originally it was a level discussion promoting the pros of two excellent phones that the OP had enquired about. Aggressive downplaying of the iPhone was not presenting facts but an opportunity you saw to play out a long agenda of dislike towards it. It backfired in this instance and the thread has now sadly run its course.
