Seeing as it is just over a month until the note 4 is announced thought would get this thread started now.

■Display density: 2560 x 1440 pixels ~ 534PPI
■Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.5GHz
■RAM: 3GB
■Internal Storage: 32, 64GB + microSD card slot for 128GB more
■Camera (back): 16-megapixels, 1080p @ 60fps, 2160 @ 30fps
■Camera (front): 2-megapixels, 1080p @ 30fps

When the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes out in the next few months..

I will be getting the Note 5 as my 1st prober Phone/Smartphone and phablet that could replace my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 maybe but i don't think it will replace my Tab Pro 8.4 we have to wait and see. :)

But it will be my phone!!!

I just updated my Galaxy Note 3 to lollipop and i can't believe how little ram is uses now. The OS is lightning fast and i can keep so many apps and chrome tabs in memory and nothing ever reloads.

Even if it isn't any quicker, it feels it.

Reading XDA it seems the Note 3 seems to be getting better lollipop reaction than the Note 4. Wonder what is different in Note 4 lollipop build that makes it perform worse over KitKat on it (even if Lollipop aesthetics are better).

After updating to lollipop on the Note 4, rooting it, and freezing a bunch of useless apps [ including sys apps ] thru Titanium.. my RAM usage hovers around 1.6-1.8 GB with occasional spikes to 2.1GB

I'm also running Nova Prime. The experience is about as smooth as on my Nexus 6 and iPhone 6 i.e. zero lag, zero hesitation or hangs/crashes.

Finally, I have also disabled 'animations' under Dev Options.

So far so good and battery life is phenomenal ~ 6.5 hrs SOT

Lost my S5 on Monday and bought a second hand Note 4 for 360€. Great price.

I'm loving the device. Way faster than the S5, loving the big screen and better build quality. I was between this and the Nexus 6, but I wanted better camera, battery, screen and easier grip.

Very happy with this device :D

I have a Galaxy Note 4 problem where the camera sensor is all blurry and can't take photos at all. It seems like a hardware issue. Is that the same for everyone? T-Mobile 5.0.1 Lollipop btw.

If it's consistently out of focus and no number of software resets / restore fix it, then it's a hardware issue. I'd get it repaired whilst still under warranty.

I have that with macro\close up shots. 7 different replacements and they all have it. regular shots sometimes it doesn't know what to focus on and will sometimes vacillate between which subject it focuses on, even with pressing the screen to direct focus.

I'll see because Samsung takes 14 days to repair. My carrier would just refurb replace a brand new device.

Well mine would be with any photo. Did a factory reset and wipe cache too.

To keep the Note 4 or just return it and get a Moto G? Samsung repair would take 2 weeks.
