I think they've forgotten they ever made a 920i.

Has the 920i not received marshmallow? I'm curious because I was considering getting the international version of the Note 6 for use on AT&T to avoid the long wait time for updates, and also to get an unlocked bootloader. But if you guys are still waiting for MM then I may not go that route.

I keep thinking it's any day now but it's proving a bit of a Unicorn.

Wow, so that one's squarely on Samsung, no carrier to blame. That's terrible. Which country are you using it in?
UK, so it's an import with the Singapore CSC/ROM I believe.

I suppose it doesn't really matter now my wife uses it - she's not going to notice or care too much really. However, with all those supposed MM schedules from December about a Q1 update, it kinda puts me off future devices.

I know we shouldn't put too much faith in leaks but I was beta testing the S6 MM early Jan and it's not that different.

I am not in a hurry to upgrade my Note 5 to MM from Lollipop. I am currently running a custom ROM called Dr Ketan and my battery life has just been incredible on this. I haven't been using the Note 5 much this week so it's just been on standby mostly and I've been taking an iPhone and a S7 Edge with me to work. I just don't want to ruin a good thing here.

This is the T-Mobile version and you will see in the screen cap that the custom ROM has changed my model number.

Just got my shiny new gold Note5...!!

It's 64 GB dual sim version. My 2nd android after Note 3 which I had bought in Nov 2013 and sold in March 2014.

I'm still a hardcore apple fan with my 6 plus being my primary device.

My experience with Note 3 was good but after 5 months I noticed a lot of lag...hopefully this one will perform much better.

Will also upgrade to Note 6, if my experience is better

Anyone getting distorted speaker sound? it's kinda worbly when playing music or use the speakerphone? It kinda cuts in and out.

Today, I was going to go to Paisley Park to take some pics with my Note 5 (kinda of a deary day, though). Unfortunately, something came up. If you're a Prince fan (very talented musician and true Minnesotan), it is a nice way to see others paying their respects. A friend went earlier in the week and took some great pics with her S7.

I had the same thing when messing with the EQ sounds in one of the music apps. I never could figure out what I had set wrong but the music would cut out because it was too loud at some points. Even returning tie EQ settings to their flat positions didn't help. I ended up restoring the phone to get rid of the problem.

I really don't use my Android phones for music anyways and still prefer an iPhone/iPod for that purpose.

One thing that bugs me about the OS is you can end up with mixed audio if you move from one app to another it doesn't fade one app'a audio out & you end up with two lots of audio horribly mixed together.

Back to the Note 5, I sent the S7 Edge packing. The "edges" were more a nuisance for me than a positive.

Rocking Note 5 on TMO with MM and more than half was paid off towards it so I can move to another smartphone at any time.

So Marshmallow finally arrived on the 920i.

Samsung really excelled with the lazy rollout for this variant.

Note 5 duos 9208 variant in Taiwan has finally got marshmallow.

But nothing for the Indian variant with same model number.

It's really sad to see such a slow rollout for even the factory unlocked phones. I understand that carrier locked version have to be further modified....but why the delay for non carrier models????

That's where Apple is far better....same day update for all devices.

I like that about Apple, but for Android we have Nexus devices. My Nexus 5 is on Marshmallow.

But even in nexus, there is a phased rollout. Indian nexus got update much after the USA version. Also not many previous generations are supported.

Like marshmallow is there for only up to nexus 5. It's not there for nexus 4.

True. The iPhone 4S got the iOS 9 update, with nearly all of the features, on day one, and that was released on the same year as the Galaxy Nexus.

I'm a hardcore apple fan....obvious from my signature :D

But I'm a technology fan too...and I really want to be a part of android bandwagon. Hopefully Samsung will update note 5 duos with marshmallow soon and also android N when it launches.
