ewww@ that dumb looking small icon interface like the crappy Apple Watch interface

Hmmm... Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay..

I can seriously see governments and banks stepping in here and demanding ONE standard is used only. They aren't going to pay for different systems and neither will stores.
I especially see that happening in Europe.
What's the difference between Pay and Android Pay? Don't they use the same standards?

I have to honestly say ... That was a total non event in all honesty. So much glossed over. Battery - glossed over for wireless charging and fast charging. Honest European information.

I just hope there is more to come from the press releases. Maybe they can fill in some of the much needed details on these devices.

In a change of strategy, the South Korean firm has no plans at present to release the Note 5 in Europe - a decision it says is purely for marketing reasons.

Confirmed !!!!! No european release and none planned for the Note 5.

I just do not understand this strategy. They are regardless of how lovely looking the S6E+ is, giving Apple a great boost in advance of the 6S+ and the likes of LG-G4 may see greater sales lift. It baffles me. S6E + is lovely, but at €900 it's not going to have near the sales in Europe as the Note series has had up to this point. Madness.

No mate they are not, and on your comment about the audience, they aren't paid staff like at Apple's events hence no roaring over the top hysterical clapping and shouting! With all the non Apple audience members looking around stunned at the ridiculous responses..
But everyone knows these are Apple employees so what's your point?

Pretty expected revealing. No real surprises. Looks like the same thing that happened to the S6/Edge will happen to the Note 5 -- it'll fracture the Samsung fans that are keen on having removable battery and expandable storage.

Otherwise, it looks like a solid update/offering for the phablet segment.

Hmmm looks like they don't want to compete now that they are not the only huge phone maker in the market. I think they will amalgamate the S6 with the Note in the next release. Either way I am not tempted so I can hang on to my Note 4 for another year without temptation (It might be more difficult if Apple was releasing a new design).

Samsung has lost their minds with these prices.

$920 is the price of a 64GB Edge+. Wtf!!
