Anyone know if you can "stack" dropbox accounts?

I'm on my second S4, so when the bonus storage thing came up during setup I put my details in but didn't seem to get the bump in space.

Greedy I know :p

You can't use the same Dropbox app for two accounts, but you can add a differ account to apps that have Dropbox integrated.

For example: I use ES File Explorer to connect with another Dropbox account. This way I can manage both my Dropbox accounts on my phone.

For sharing to the second account that's not on the default Dropbox app, I would have to select ES File Explorer, then place in the Dropbox folder.

Thanks. I'll give it a go.

Edit: Rooted with CF Auto Root, downloaded Goo Manager and installed TWRP.

Now the fun begins.
and that folks that is how a flash addict is made.......soon you will have the addiction just like the rest of us....flashing different roms daily....storing back ups of different roms on your SD Card. Flashing every new rom as it becomes available. Be warned before you start......there is no known cure....... :)

Been there before. Don't want to go back there again. Flashoholism is an all consuming addiction.

The reason I rooted was that I was getting tired of the micro lags in the phone, even with a custom launcher. Not sure why, but now with having done no more than rooting my phone, it is flying. The lag is gone, the animations are smooth, no hint of any stutters. I think I'll hold back on flashing a rom and just run with a rooted phone for now.

Hi I hope you can answer my question please, I am selling my iPhone 5 as I wanna buy the sim free UK model S4, my main usage will be listening to music but I have seen a lot of people complaining about crackling with the i9505 UK model.

I just wanted to know has this issue been fixed and is the sound quality on par with the iPhone 5.

Thanks

So I didn't even know mine was running 4.2.2 instead of 4.3 :p

Update prompt came up about an hour ago, it's a bit more responsive now which is cool.

Wonder what this means for 4.4 though...

I've never flashed and honestly see no point in it. A custom launcher does the trick for me, all that flash business is just too uber-nerdy for me.

Actually, the only qualification needed to root and flash is an ability to follow directions. Don't really need to be a nerd to do it.

And flashing is one of those things that once you start doing it, it is very hard to stop. Custom roms generally offer more customizations that what the manufacturers offer, so the search for that perfect rom becomes never ending.

More customizations and better performance than stock.

Rumours seem to indicate that 4.4 won't come for a long, long time...

4.3

Who has an S4 and has updated to 4.3 already?

(Through the phone itself, not rooting etc!)

I'm still on 4.2.2 but I'm worried about 4.3. Hearing complaints about battery life issues... that can't be good...

Yeah, heard on the S3 that it's messing up pretty bad.

No insane rush to update, would rather have a stable OS.

My experience of stock 4.3 has been very positive. Most of the lag has gone and battery life is much improved, for some reason. Now get around 4hours of screen time which isn't bad considering Bluetooth is constantly on and connected to my pebble and I stream music via Bluetooth for at least an hour per day.
Saying that i do still get the odd rogue battery day, for no apparent reason..

Stock 4.3 was a pile of crap, mainly because the Knox software got even worse and I kept getting error messages from it telling me it closed apps, except it wouldn't even tell me which apps anymore.

Since CM Installer came out a few days after I got official 4.3 I just installed CM. The installer is super easy to use BTW. My S4 is now rocking CM 10.2 Milestone 1 and doing so very well. It's very nice to have an AOSP ROM again and it performs amazingly. I don't know if it's just placebo but it seems a lot faster than stock. It certainly looks a lot slicker, especially with the Kit-Kat themed Nova beta.

I do miss some Sammy features - the extra information it gave me when I hovered my finger over texts and songs was awesome, as was the feature that showed me notifications when I waved my hand over the phone - but I don't miss them enough to go back to stock.

Looks like Best Buy got another exclusive colorway for a flagship phone (like blue HTC One)

Carphone Warehouse here in the UK started selling a red S4 about a month after I got my white one from Amazon, shame I missed out on that, red phones are sexy.

I'm still waiting for 4.3 on my AT&T S4. I can't imagine the battery life being any worse than it already is.

Recieved the OTA update of 4.3 last week and I must say there have been some improvments, mostly battery and lag.

No problems with it as of yet.
