No pre made replies.

When you're using your phone, if someone texts you, a popup appears on the screen where you can either dismiss the message or respond back. You don't have to leave the app and go to the message app to respond and then close and reopen what you were viewing previously. Same for the home screen. You can quick reply directly from the home screen without having to unlock your phone.

For people who text often (which is a lot of people). It's very convenient and a time saver. You can adjust the settings/privacy (for lockscreen) as well.

Isn't that the same thing as swiping the text message on the iphone and responding? I get that it takes you away from the lock screen, but you don't have to unlock, go to the messages app, then respond. Your ready to input text with a simple swipe, just like on Android its one tap of the reply button.

Both equally efficient as I see it.

Introducing a phone without limitations, designed to make your life easier.

Hear that Apple? No limitations? Make our life easier and not harder?

Take note.

Let it go.....there are things that iOS does better than Android and vice versa. The answer to the question which one makes your life easier varies on the user.

They have. Big events they've been doing live streaming on and off for years. In fact their last one was a test of their new live streaming html5 technology.

Why give Google the satisfaction?

So is the fact that this look almost identical to the S3 get people to stop bitching about the iphone still looking like an iPhone? Why mess with a design that has the mindshare to make it instantly recognizable?

identical to an s3.

The people that wanted some dramatic shift in design were just begging to be let down. Samsung spent a massive sum of cash in marketing for mobile last year and have a huge user base now. They, like Apple before them, cannot just change design on a whim and expect to keep users. People like familiarity and hitting the reset button every year just isn't feasible.
