Is it possible to remove the "S Finer" and "Quick Connect" buttons from the pull down menu?

MRU/Jmerz, do you guys know?

Strangely, this setting seem to be region specific, just like the sort button in drawers. Some people seem to have it, some don't. I ordered mine directly from Samsung with no carrier involved so will be interesting to see if its there or not. But if it is, there is apparently no obvious way to remove it.

White 32gb. Though I am considering returning it and getting a white 64gb instead. Waiting a few days to evaluate my usage in terms of pics and music.

Thus far, it's an amazing device.

I wanted to wait until the 128GB models are available and then realised that my temporarily Moto G only got 8GB and I am doing alright. Not great, but alright.

Anyone else (specifically on Verizon) have Cell Standby sucking a ton of battery life away? It's taking 30-31% of my battery life away on a full charge. WTF is that??

I believe that is unreliable on lollipop if you are talking about settings -> battery. it has been higher usage than my screen lately and that cant be the case (using GS4 GPE). It is showing my wifi as always on too, but it really isnt, as verified by GSAM battery monitor.

I ditched my iPhone 6 Plus for the regular Galaxy S6 in 64GB Black Sapphire.

The double click anywhere to get to the camera app is amazing as is the camera. The camera is much better than my iPhone was in many ways. The screen is also simply amazing. 577 PPI or whatever is awesome to look at. My iPhone looks dull compared to it.

The fingerprint scanner works flawlessly. I'm also really enjoy split screen mode and having 2 apps open at once. I really have no complaints at this point. The battery is much small than my iPhone so I knew it wouldn't last as long but I'm getting around 5-6 hours of screen on time.

I'm actually enjoying the smaller size of the Galaxy S6. It hits a sweet spot between the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

This is the first Android phone that might keep me away from iPhones for an extended period.

I want to see after the "new" honeymoon ends if the s6 converts iPhone lovers from the iphone or they return it. I love the competition and how Apple will have to bring it on the 7!!!

Everyone enjoy your phones...That s6 is sexy!!!

The S6 is nice, but I don't see anything that would convert iPhone users.

The S6 is basically an iPhone 6 running android.

Looks similar, fingerprint scanner is now the same, Samsung pay.

No, it's a well built iphone 6 runnin android. Samsung wins regarding the hardware as always.

I'm a long standing iPhone user with a 6 Plus and my Galaxy arrives tomorrow. I'm expecting a lot and still wondering if I'm making the right decision moving from my iPhone to the S6...

Can the S6 be remotely locked and not re-activated without a password like the iPhone and iCloud activation lock?

Well I mean more like this.

ah....yeah thats similar......then there is this...

They don't look anymore alike than all other phones. They just look alike to iphone fans...... because you know....... everyone copied the iphone. /s

I've been using the Speck Candyshell grip. I ordered a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case, a Ringke Flex case, and a Vena wallet case, yesterday, all from eBay.

I bought my 64GB standard GS6 yesterday at T-Mobile. Got the white. Black and White were the only colors for now and i dont want another black phone.

The Edge is a very nice looking phone but id rather spend the extra money on space than a phone that only does 4 minor different things.

The phone is Very slippery so i ordered a Spigen Slim Armor in Blue Topaz from Amazon($17.99) and i also got the Ringke Flex from eBay.

Ill give a shout out to the HTC M9. I actually considered it while in the store. Real nice and they upgraded the camera's front and back. The front camera was the M8's back camera and they put a better camera on the back of the M9. It is a 20MP.

This is the first time I ever read that type of comment about Samsung hardware. I always thought the galaxy series looked like a budget smartphone regardless of how it might have functioned compared to the iphone.

Being a techie - I had them all treos, blackberries, the HTC Evo before it was even released, many androids, and then the iphones starting with the 4s, 5, 5s, 6 and now the 6+.

The s6 is sexy but one thing I always found on all my androids was as I used them and added apps to them they begin to slow down. Im sure that maybe fixed by now.

I am watching this thread not because I will buy one but because I like to read about others experiences as they open their devices like a kid in a candy store and to see how many iphone lovers stay on the s6 side.

Enjoy your phones everyone.

Samsung has a history of taking design cues from apple. Point is Samsung ditched all the previous features (sd slot, water resistance, battery) to be more like an iPhone 6.

This phone will sell a ton. I played with it, its very nice. At the same time it feels crazy similar to my iPhone 6 when I hold it.

Obviously this was Samsung's goal. They have achieved it.

Point is THEY ALL TAKE DESIGN CUES FROM EACH OTHER.
iPhone come with larger screens now.....so who did that first? Not Apple.
When the iphone comes with a stylus or curved screen.......what will you say then? Its just very amusing......

Well they both have round corners, ...lol. I think the Gold is ugly.
Yeah i think Apple patented that......rectangle shape with rounded corners.... /s

yes but don't forget Apple uses (or is gonna use again) Samsung chipsets, all the iphone 6 parts are 3rd party ones so....

iphone 6 screens are made by LG right?

I'm not sure where your going with this? Obviously apple does not make the cellular chip or the ram. Has nothing to do with what I am saying.

Also the A8 is designed by apple, Samsung only makes it.

Good thing nobody else is using those specs, they might be in trouble.

Only leveling things a little bit. ;)

ONLY makes it? sure, i want to see Apple manufacturing their own hardware...

So how many Samsung parts are in your iPhone? Seems like the iPhone is more Samsung than the other way around.
