If you read the books, was this worse, or was it just the visualization? I'm still on book 3, Robb Startk is still alive.

If Tyrion dies, I am really going to be pissed. However, (no comments please), the author has a tendency of making what appears likely, suddenly not to happen, people who have momentum, suddenly get cut down, so I'm hoping Tyrion survives, but I'm preparing for disappointment. What makes it worse is that I find Tyrion's character more compelling in the show than in the book, probably because of the actor who plays him, so I'm going to bummed if the worst happens. :p
The books are genrally more graphic in detail, I still cringed.

There is death coming, its epic. If there is not the epic death, and the quotable line, which I eagerly await... I may have a breakdown if it doesnt get squeezed in before season end.

There's absolutely no way that part doesn't make it in - probably the end of episode 9 or early in the finale.

I think they're going to finally progress the story north of the wall in these last two episodes. I just wonder where they're going to cut that off for the finale.

Um..... Danny, Jon and Tyrion are the main characters of the book..... Arya for her part can also be considered a main character. That is all I am going to say about that. That doesn't mean any of them die or don't die.

Its kind of just the Lannisters, Starks and Targaryens..... The Baratheons are kind of important(Stannis, Rob.... but not as big as the other 3 houses)

I didn't remember the head exploding thought he just bashed his face in but I read that book a long time ago. I'm so sad there are only 2 more episodes to go.

I spent the last couple weeks watching Game of Thrones for the first time, from the beginning, and just caught up last night. I admit, it was pretty slow at times, but season 3 really hooked me. Its great how each episode ends with a cliffhanger of some sort. I can hardly wait for tonight's episode!

Amazing!

I loved the single shot spinning around to all the different points of castle black during the fighting. That must have taken some doing.

That was a phenomenal directorial choice. It felt heavily CGI'd but it added so much to the action it was totally worth it.

I found a link to it:

I liked how you could see on the main characters, but they also weren't the centre of attention.

Amazing visually, huge steaming mishmash turd of a story.

That about sums up Episode 9 in my opinion. The first time in a while that all I could say was "The book did it way better."

I feel like the music is something that really adds to the show but is mostly over looked. If your a fan of soundtracks, the GOT soundtracks are top notch! And this season the music has been awesome!

Wow, there were some things I really didn't expect in that finale. Can't wait till next season but at least I have the books to keep me occupied.

I'm sad now; have to wait another ten months! I'm also disappointed that the epilogue from the book wasn't in there but I shall say no more :p

* Haven't read the books, so all comments are based on show exposure only.

I liked the finale. I'm so glad at how things turned out with Jon Snow as the last episode left you thinking it was going to be some kind of crazy action hero movie where one man goes in and pulls off the impossible. I'm not certain how to feel about the Hound as he was growing on me. My wife, who has read the books, says the show has made him a much more sympathetic character than he really is. Truly, oh my head, is Tyrion the prime example of what someone does when they've been pushed too far. And, the Mother of Dragons seems to be finding parenting to be much more difficult than expected. :D Looking forward to next season.

Just watched the final episode. I really enjoyed it - time for me to plow on with the book then.

My complaint is that mostly it felt like there were 20 men fighting 20 men. CGI did help.

Currently the best show I am watching. I'm still on the 3rd book, creeping through it slowly. I'll miss the Hound too. If you remember he had a festering wound that I believe put him at a disadvantage although Brienne represented herself quite well. Totally surprised when Stannis Baratheon appeared North of the Wall to save the Night Watch's Bacon. What happened to the 100,000 men the Wildlings had?

I was not planning on the big kill and chuckled when Varis decided to bail along with Tyrion. It will be interesting to see how Jamie reacts. I wonder where Tyrion is headed? Wondering how Danny can ever control her dragons. Can anyone confirm Ayra was headed for Bravos?

Great graphic. :D

The show is drifting further and further from the books - I fully expect that by the time season 9/book 7 come out, they will have such major main plot element differences as to be "two similar stories told in the same world," rather than alternate tellings of the same story.

I still love Arya. The character is great, and the actress plays is perfectly. I really hope the Braavos plot line stays close to the books, because I can't wait to see some of those things on screen!

Season 9 is going to come out ages before book 7. Ages.

GRRM is going to take 15 years to release the next two books.
