6/1 Spoiler!

Over confidence... I sensed this outcome. Ties go against the defendant? I assume this is because Prince Oberyn died first? Tywin looked really satisfied about this outcome.

Aside from the trial by combat I found the rest of this episode pretty interesting. Sansa seems to finally understand that in order to survive she needs to play the game so it was cool seeing her change (at least a little) from this naive innocent girl.

Also maybe now Ser Jorah can do something relevant. Dany is starting to show more of her Targaryen traits. She touts these big words "justice" etc. but shes just so full of **** in my opinion. She is one person I wouldn't mind to see get killed.

I knew it was coming, but nothing could have prepared me for that level of brutality.

I think I'm more distraught about this than the Red Wedding.

I didn't expect people to be this distraught at the outcome. Makes it harder to hold back as a book reader :D

Poor Ser Jorah.

First he gets dumped by Lady Mary Crawley. Then he gets run out of Mereen on a rail.

He's better off in my opinion. Dany's not doing anything. She just says I have dragons and thats it. I get that gives her power, but its misplaced I think.

Being someone who has read the books and isn't typically surprised by anything on the show (at least besides any book v. TV tangents), I thoroughly enjoyed the trial by combat scene in this episode.

I was really hoping the situation in the north would have progressed further by now, but it seems like they're saving that for the season finale the way they keep dragging their feet with that storyline.

I still can't get over that ending. I was really starting to like Prince Oberyn. Ugh, why did he have to get so cocky?! I was literally yelling at my TV telling him to finish him off already since I had a sneaky feeling that he would rise back up. And he did. Ugh.

If you read the books, was this worse, or was it just the visualization? I'm still on book 3, Robb Startk is still alive.

If Tyrion dies, I am really going to be pissed. However, (no comments please), the author has a tendency of making what appears likely, suddenly not to happen, people who have momentum, suddenly get cut down, so I'm hoping Tyrion survives, but I'm preparing for disappointment. What makes it worse is that I find Tyrion's character more compelling in the show than in the book, probably because of the actor who plays him, so I'm going to bummed if the worst happens. :p

Oh I think this was worse. The book spared no details, but the visualisation was brutal.
