The new Gevey Pro or Supreme or whatever:

Would I be able to use this for an iPhone 3Gs with a microSIM to SIM adapter? and is the unlock permanent or will it go away when I restore? Also, will the unlock be reversed when I remove the Gevey from the phone?

Of Course not, All Gevey's are for iPhone 4 only!

U probably could use it but u will have all kinds of adapters inside it that u may get something stuck in there. The unlock is there when u have the piggyback.

Hey, got strange stuff going on with my Gevey 2 pro. Everytime I start with the gevey combo, I get the activation screen saying I should connect my iphone with iTunes.
Unlock works anyway. I have a full status bar and can be called and get messages. o_O But I can't call other than the emergency number....
I have done the airplane mode thing through the SSB settings.
My phone is activated since months (no message in itunes). FW 4.2.1 / BB 02.04.10 / Limesnow

What the hell is going wrong?!

anyone hear about the new Gevey Supreme Pro ?

The Untethered unlock means you don’t have to do the manual unlock procedure every time you reboot your iPhone 4.

The Gevey Supreme will automate the manual unlock method, so you won’t be needing to dial 112 or put your iPhone into airplane mode for 45 seconds etc.

To unlock your iPhone 4 with Gevey Supreme (Pro Plus), all you need to do is to put your unofficial carrier SIM card along with the Gevey Supreme in your iPhone. GeveySupreme still use 112 exploit, but you won’t need to do anything, because it will automatically dial 112 from your iPhone in background and turn on and off Airplane mode in the background. The whole automated unlock procedure will only take less than a minute or two.

Regarding Gevey Superme: there is nothing illegal about this. You actually need to plug it in your iPhone 4, then everything would gose fine. And No you will not get in trouble like Gevey sim give you bore.( yes it really is illegal to dail 112 and wait until it connects, but there is no need for that at all) I have been using my gevey supreme for more than a week now and im pleased with it.

It could not be any simpler. . . Install it and forget it, so what are you waiting for?

i found this in the page on applenberry

GEVEY PRO PLUS and GEVEY SUPREME are not our products. Beware of counterfeits and imitations. There are a lot of counterfeits on eBay and Amazon. We do not sell on eBay nor Amazon. We will only support customers that purchase from our website.

I am about to move to Namibia in Southern Africa for 9 months to do my master's thesis and wanted to bring my phone with me while im there. They have a mobile company over there that sells the phone and I wondered if I purchased something like the gevey SIM if I could bring my phone over there and activate it....I am so clueless and out of the loop as to how this whole thing works, but based on the research ive down it seems like a viable option. Any thoughts from you all? I would really appreciate any comments from you all. I've already learned a ton from everyone, so thanks for any help...oh yeah, I have the iphone 4 running on 4.3.3. (04.10.01)
TIA!

the gevey sim simply unlocks your phone, as long as there is a provider in that country which has a plan that will work for you and that you can actually purchase without being a citizen, then you are good to go. if the sim isn't a microsim you'll need to cut it, but that's about it.

ApplenBerry does not make any SIM cards.
Gevey SIM is made by Gevey, which is a Chinese company based in China.
ApplenBerry is (or was) Gevey's exclusive importer in USA.

The new Gevey Supreme pro *is* made by Gevey, it just became available here in China.
Maybe ApplenBerry and Gevey no longer has partnership, therefore ApplenBerry is making such claim.

The SIM tray has the Gevey logo as does the interposer. They look fairly well made, except the interposer doesn't quite fit in the tray. This is probably why it's a tight fit in my iPhone. Also, the packaging looks authentic. Still, the lack of a manual, the poor fitting of the interposer in the tray, and the simple fact that this kit just doesn't work, all lead me to believe this is a counterfeit. I do plan to file a complaint with PayPal if MyDalle won't give me a refund.

Hi,
I also bought a Gevey sim whatever it is called and I have iPhone4. Sim card I use is Airtel. When I try to unlock the phone by having both gevey sim and airtel sim on the gevey sim tray, they don't fit together. I would greatly appreciate who could give me any kind of tips to make it fit in the tray. It seems like that black square thing on Gevey sim is too big; hence, the carrier sim card doesn't fit together with it in the tray. Please Please Please help!!!! I don't want to ruin the sim card.
