Got mine today but not either of my two cases yet.
It was easy to set up putting my apps on the homepage where I want them.
The only problem I'm having is with the Poweramp music player getting my music to work with it so far.
Amazon music works good offline with it though with the same music I copied in there from the Micro SD card that was in my S9 that the PowerAmp won't play. Still trying to work that out.

Really like that my screen is bigger than on my GS9 yet the phones overall size is a little shorter.
Would be nice if the speakers were just a little bit louder.

I also have to give it more time that it's only been a few hours, but I can't decide if I want to use the gestures going back home or back to the previous screen or back to using the buttons on the bottom.
However on the Pixel I don't think I can switch my buttons around like I could on my Galaxy to you have the back button on the right instead of the left.

Gestures is ok and im getting used to it but the buttons are fine too. Not everything that is current means it is best. However, i dont like the back button on the left so i cant switch that on the Pixel so the gestures will stay.
I just find the buttons a complete waste of screen space and cumbersome. Swiping feels so much more fluent.

It's not like the buttons take up a quarter of the screen lol. You could also hide them on Samsung phones and swipe up from the bottom to bring them up.
Speaking of which, I still like the additions Samsung put on Android as opposed to stock Android.
For instance, I can't change my lock screen pic on the Pixel like I did on my GS9. It has to be the same as the background apparently on stick Android.
Little things like that.
Another bothersome gesture I find I get lucky with using gestures is getting to the windows page where I have been before to either go directly to one or erase them. The buttons worked good for that, I get lucky with the gestures as I don't know what the actual gesture is to do that.

I have, and don't see anything for it. And when I went to a pic and clicked on "set as", lock screen pic isn't a choice as it is on SS phones.

The lock screen has to be the same image as the home screen? Check your settings, never heard of that.

I can do separate. I'm on the Android 11 beta though, but it worked before that for me too.

Edit - Re-read the above post, you have to click the set wallpaper and then the other settings show up.

Anyone holding out for the 4a 5g? I wonder what obnoxious price it'll be listed at and if the radios will be any good.

Hmmm 150 bucks more for a radio that has limited functionality right now

499 would be a good price for the pixel 5 however with 4g :)

So last year's and this year's A models all have good battery life compared to the flagship devices. Surely it's down to the less power hungry chips inside? Google just need to have a large enough battery to cope with the extra demand of 5G.

After my last post above I went to 7 hours and 11 minutes of screen on time with 13% left and that was mostly watching YouTube.
Thats good usage, anything over 6 hours on heavy usage is good imo

I never use my phone more than this apart from maybe on weekends

Took the boys out to walk some trails. Came home and they still wanted to hang outside for a bit. Zeke fell asleep chewing a stick, lol. I continue to be impressed by this phone. Such a steal at 350.
