Interesting that the smaller 9 Pro dates have all slipped (some into October) on the UK Google store.
Yet all of the Pro XLs are all ready to be delivered in two days.

Can't know for sure, but wondering if Google just made less smaller Pros or more people than expected were interested in a smaller Pro device?
Either way, strange that they didn't all get released together.

Now they have offered two sizes, you'd like to think they'd always do it, but this is Google.

This is a question I would love answered directly from a Google official.

Why was the smaller 9 Pro not released and launched and delayed several weeks?

Was it for Google to gauge interest with pre-orders? Just to see if it would be popular or not? Or is there some manufacturing backup/delay and just having longer lead times getting that smaller Pro out to customers?

I just installed the Spigen SP and it was a perfect install every time. I re-registered my fingerprints just to be on the safe side.

I've been having a frustrating time with glass SP's. I tried several that were recommended including the amFilm SP. I found the Supershieldz to work the best for me. At first the Supershieldz seem really good then after awhile I get an accuracy rate of 65-70%. The amFilm SP's were a little worse than the Supershieldz. That's not to say the Ultrasonic FPS is bad in the P9XL, I just seem to have issues with them. I run into the same problem on my Galaxy Tab S7+. I sent off my 7 Pro for my trade in. If it clears and I get my quote of $540 for the phone, I'm considering returning the 9PXL.

Does anyone know if I return the phone do I get to keep the $540 trade in quote and my $200 store credit?

That's a good question with wanting to return it and what do you do with the trade-in value since it's a promotional value and store credit I don't know if they just take it away.

Do you use a case on your smartphone?

If yes, then the color matters not. You'll never see the back of the phone.

I like black as it looks better in cases, the camera bar will be dark and not shiny, and the edges bring black also look better

Yeah was wondering the same, I haven't used her once, and just seemed pointless.

Serious question, what's does Gemini offer or do for me on my Pixel 9 Pro XL, that it didn't or couldn't do on my 8 Pro. But I never installed Gemini on my 8 Pro anyways. So not even sure what I'm missing, if anything?

Agree on all but the pixel watch. No way I can give up my Galaxy Watch Ultra. It's absolutely amazing.

My apple watch ultra is a tank, over year runs great and looks bad azz but IOS is a drag and a bore and I cannot stand it, just today I sent my resume to a friend to help me find a job, I literally just downloaded it to my phone from google drive and sent it imao, I can't do that on IOS.

The galaxy watch 5 pro won't sell for probably 100 bucks on the street just a fact.

So I don't know I can get the ultra galaxy but I don't have a galaxy phone and what I really like about the pixel is the notifications pop up on the lock screen automatically without me having to do anything, samsung you need a app for that due to security implementations by samsung.

Not to mention the pixel gestures are just wonderful.

A iphone that's underpowered but better than iphone in a sense.

For a cheap case, this is actually super nice, maybe my fav of the cases I bought so far. It's kind of like the official Google silicone case, but this isn't as slimy feeling, and it's a hair thinner than it. Has a more harder feel not so soft, but it's also not rigid hard or anything. Lot's of colors to choose from, I bought two colors, the greenish/gray color, and the dark slate color.

Re Google Drive - yes you can do what you wanted on your iPhone with zero issues.

I used it all the time on my 15PM with zero hiccups

Re AWU - I've sold mine (AWU2) and 15PM and moved to my S24U and Galaxy WU as the Pixel watches are too small for me personally... The GWU is hell of a watch and just as good as thr AWU, in my opinion

My wife's got the 1st Pixel Watch and it's worn very well indeed. She's no screen protector fitted and the screen is nigh on new still, just some very fine marks that you can see if you hold it at the right angle..

They do seem to wear very well.

I've run my GWU with my Pixel Fold too, to see how it went and had no issues. All notifications came through that I wanted with no issues. Just downloaded the necessary apps onto my Fold and set the GWU up as a test. Worked faultlessly FYI

I'm waiting for the 9 Pro Fold to be released here in the UK so I can go and see one in the flesh before I decide to upgrade to that or not..

If it ticks the boxes it could be my single device, run that with my GWU and sell on my Pixel Fold and S24U... We'll see though as I do like having a separate device for business (could just start using my Pixel 4XL again)
