Haha I passed on them but trading my bud2 bc I don't like the fit for that new Pixel Pros,
Waiting to see reviews of the new Pixel Bud Pros. But likely going to trade my first Pixel Bud Pros for those. Gotta keep a galaxy one around for when I use a samsung so not parting with my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

Its not the fact that the button is there...it is how it is deployed. Long press..... lighter press...tap.... I do like the slide to zoom in and zoom out though. But for me it add a degree of difficulty that doesn't need to be there.
Yeah, the extra layers of control seem overly complicated and fiddly. I’d personally appreciate the quick launch and snap a photo/start a video capabilities. Also, being able to quickly access Apple’s equivalent to Google smart search using the camera could be handy, depending on how good Apple Intelligence truly is.

Really good so far. The size of the 9 Pro is perfect for me. Absolute Goldilocks.

As for the Watch, shocked at how comfortable it is. It looks a tiny bit large but I am definitely ok with it as the extra screen is welcome. The new watch face looks great and the screen appears to be sharper but it could just be because it's bigger things just look better.
It also feels a lot quicker than my Watch 2.

Bands seem to snap on way tighter with this one too. I have had multiple instances where my watch has fallen off as the strap has dislodged from the locking mechanism but doesn't look like it will be an issue here.
I had the Pixel watch 2 and it ended up being junk and kept restarting itself all the time, so hesitant to give the 3 a go.

I keep swapping between my S24U and my Pixel 9 but honestly I think I prefer the 9 even though it cost me half the price and it's got worse specs. 😭

The Buds Pro 2 didn’t fit in my ears well, they were too tight. I got them free as part of a promotional deal. I’m looking at the Pixel Buds Pro 2 tho, Gemini Live is very appealing to me.

Sooo think I will swap the watch out for the smaller size.
I really like it and I wish my wrist was just a touch bigger.
It is super comfortable, though and I think I could happily wear it but it just niggles me a bit that it's just maybe a fraction too big.

Have a feeling the size may come into play more when I wear it playing tennis, which I do with my current PW2 four times a week.

Bit gutted that you don't get the sweet new watch face exclusive to the 45mm, but there we go.

That sucks but I always think it's better to get one that fits than just the biggest model like with a phone.

The 41mm PW2 looked small on my wrist, not that I have @danb1979 sized wrists but I can usually get away with the biggest size smart watch. 😆

I need to see some side by side GWU and Pixel Watch 3 images/Youtube vids first to decide whether to buy it or not...

And to see if Ultimal release and straps for it as I do not like the ones I've seen so far

Off topic, but anyone using Firefox Mobile on their Pixel 9 line phone?

I like the ad blocking on it, probably the best in that regard, but is there a way to get the bookmarks button to be on the bottom address bst bottom area?

And can this browser go full screen, up into the status bar? Samsung Browser stops before the status bar.

The smaller 9 Pro does look like a super nice phone. Glad Google finally made a Pro Pixel in the smaller format for folks that don't like Xtra large smartphones

Ha interesting! Maybe I'm used to the smaller size, I have had one on my wrist for the last 2 years (watch 1 then 2!)

I think it was as big as I could get away with.

I still think the watch is overpriced. Maybe if it reduces or there are some offers soon then I will reconsider.

Sorry if already discussed but is the difference between the 8 Pro and 9 Pro camera noticable? I usually don't buy the top end newest phone so I am thinking about picking up an 8 Pro. I have the 7 regular and have been very happy with it but it has got wet and sometimes acts up otherwise I would keep it.

I have seen 8 Pros on Facebook for pretty cheap, and actually 9 regulars as well but I think an 8 Pro would be what I would choose

I honestly prefer the camera on the 8 Pro. Many photos I've taken on the 9 Pro look a bit too unnatural. I think Google went to far with the AI enhancements and hope they tone it down in future updates. Perhaps it's just me.

The selfie camera is a huge improvement though.
