I did about 4 hours without touching the phone I put it on DND and it lost 3%. I figured I'd try it while I was working Will do some more testing though later on..

Yeah, DND is on, maybe that's it. All my cases is just the normal phone, no dnd, no bedtime mode, no battery saver, and faced up etc

I don't like having my phone interrupt my sleep ..every phone goes to DND ..if emergencies my favorites can call through to get me ...

I got about the same last night. Went to bed around 11 and just got up at 545. 88% when I put it on the nightstand and it was 80% when I woke up. A little over 1% an hour isn't bad or out of line with any of my other devices.

Yes not so bad at all ..I will have to test if DND on will help it …but usually I slow charge while sleeping

Strange, seems to be a tad more with me, it did improve last night but I had to put it in battery saver mode, went from like 98% to 92%

Do you guys have adaptive connectivity on or off?

Not sure if that's making my wifi act up or something

You can also see I'm at 90% already, so I had the same drain or more, even though I was on battery saver and y'all were not. So not sure what's up with me

Idk. I’d like to think a modern android phone could keep its overnight drain down to something closer than 3 percent over 7 hours. It’s not the end of the world of course but it definitely isn’t ideal. Run the same test with an iPhone.

iPhones are miracle workers in this regard. I don't think my wife's phone can die lol

I've tested previously on iPhone is usually the best one with minimal drain overnight followed by my samsung s23u is actually very good somewhere no more than 5% sometimes less...

Does my phone idle at 49% mean anything meaningful?
You will see a high percentage on idle since the phone is not in use so it would make sense when you're not using the phone and leaving it off charge to see that high in the list... Do you see any other apps on the list while you have it on standby that are up there high?

My 14 PM is pretty close to the same. I have not experienced the great battery life with it that I did the 13 PM. My S23U is probably best in regards to battery drain. I tend to lose around 4-5% over an average night's sleep, which for me is around 6 to 6.5 hours.

Overall, I still really, really love this device. I think Google nailed it with the form factor. Literally my only complaint so far is that the inside screen and bezels are so susceptible to dings if dirt gets inside. I wish they would have left a slight lip to keep the display to where both halves aren't completely flush against each other when closed. The pressure, if you get something like a grain of sand inside, can damage the screen/bezels pretty easy. I have a couple of small indentions in the bezel and display the size of a small grain of beach sand (which was caused by beach sand). Nothing catastrophic, but still slightly annoying. My fault I know, but I buy my devices to use them in all aspects of my lifestyle. I did buy the extra protection through Google, but its nothing bad enough to file a claim over at this point.

I noticed yesterday that  music is stupid on Android Auto. When selecting an Artist it just shuffles the artist it doesn’t show me their albums. Then when I click the AZ button to see my artists it only goes to the letter U even though I just looked in the app and I have artists from A to Z.

Then when I choose album from my library on AA it only lets me choose A-F?! Wtf again even though when I check the app I have albums from A-Z. Absolutely stupid.

It’s such a shame cause the fold is soo sexy.
Apple Music sucks on any Android (or Apple IMO) device although it is still usable. I've long been a spotify guy and the app is fantastic on the pixel fold. Spotify is my go to however, even when using an iPhone. Only reason I keep an Apple family subscription is bc my kids prefer it.

I'm happy to see Google handle the trade-in process flawlessly.. My phone was approved the next day after it was received...

Well I googled the issue and apparently it happens with YT music also where users couldn’t see there entire library. Mind you I was parked when trying to see all my albums or artists.
