Thank you, really pleased with the quality coming from it.Lovely images.
Wish my Fold could take pictures like this.
Today I got a nice scare and obviously I'm going to keep an eye on it.. I was using my phone all of a sudden I got a line down to the right of the middle of the phone which looked like an old school television.. I'm staring at this as my screen is unresponsive thinking oh well time to get in touch with Google.. phone reboot and came back normal with no screen issues but sure has me thinking I might be on to a problem..
Thank you ..I did give it a one over and couldn't see any visible area with debris or dents ..but don't have an easy feeling with it ..Make sure there is nothing on the screen or on the borders. Mine had a grain of sand that left the phone unresponsive and with a small round “dent” on the plastic of the screen. Luckily it didn’t picture the screen and after a while the indentation went away. After a reset everything was fine.
But there is no clearance between the screen halves when closed, so any little thing that gets stuck in there when you close it has a chance to break the display.
I use mine with no case, I did have a Dbrand leather skin, but I didn't apply it properly, and it peeled off, I didn't really like the feel of it though,Anyone using without a case?
I have used Google case and Spigen.
Finally, I am naked with PF and that feeling of black glass gives luxurious touch.
After read through phone insurance details, I am going naked and light except with the glass screen protector to protect scratches.
This is rather strange with no case. About a decade, I been using case on all sorts of phones.I use mine with no case, I did have a Dbrand leather skin, but I didn't apply it properly, and it peeled off, I didn't really like the feel of it though,
I much prefer just the glass feeling,
I may well get a screen protector as well.

This bare feeling gives total liberation. Guess I am growing out of control freak mindset.
Expecting any dent, scratches as character rather than defect is such a good feeling.
I'm iffy on One+ and it's software but I've not experienced it so can't say and getting future updates I've heard is not the best but then again I don't keep phones that long lol ...also that camera bump is over the top unnecessary IMO which from what I've seen compared to PF does not seem to be a clear upgrade to camera results... I know it charges fast and has good battery life which is good but I'd rather have wireless charging and bump charge when I need it haha ..it's good to have competition and more options ... it's also an Oppo 3rd gen device so kudos on first release for the US ...Decent price but I bet the trade in values will be nerfed a ton. They rarely let you double dip on discounts.
The Pixel Fold doesn’t appeal to me after seeing the OP Open. OP just got so many things right with their design and although I prefer Pixel software, I think OP did a better job of customizing software to fit the device.
I guarantee you it’ll be worse. How much so and if you’ll notice a difference all depends on the coverage at your work.Coming from a 14 Pro Max on AT&T how does the reception on the Pixel Fold compare?
I think battery life will be less but I can make up for that with charging at work but reception is a big deal.
