Keynote app

Hello everybody and hackers

i have a bad news for you

ML works very well in my 2008 Macbook, but there are two problems:

1) Every video and animation based in Flash always prick many times.
2) Keyonte doesn't show normally the slides. It gave a warning:

"Your computer may not have enough video random-access memory (VRAM) to play the slideshow at the current screen resolution.

Try changing your colors from millions to thousands, or choosing a lower screen resolution in the Displays pane of System Preferences."

How do I hack this solution?

It's very dangerous to open Launchpad because it gives more lag and you have to restart. For searching for an app, use Spotlight or Application folder on the Dock. It's safe to use Mission Control.

Install video drivers

Dude, read the thread before posting. You have to install the x3100 video drivers to have the maximum potential of your video card correctly recognized. And even then ML won't be a pleasant drive compared to Lion. Unless somebody writes better drivers and fixes the brightness controls and the sleep. Those things I don't see happening any time soon, so just stick with Lion for now. Honestly I would like from ML only the few corrected bugs, because the new "features" quite frankly are nothing to write home about. Safari for example is severely butchered and crippled. QuickTime has broken again third party plugins and there are few more things that bring ML closer to a commodity ware and farther from a professional operating system.

But I have already installed the X3100 kexts as the hacker asked, before. With these kexts done, those problems continue.

Macbook 2.1 mb062

Hello everybody,
I've installed the hacked version of mountain lion on my old macbook mb062. I've read about the problems the people get on unsupported systems. I've installed the latest version of skype from Skype.com yesterday and I've got no video at all during the conversation. My opponent had seen me, but I hadn't neither him nor me. Face time give me a chance to see me through the mountain lion but I can't activate my account using Apple ID. So, no video calls possible nowadays?

updates

And probably no updates anymore. I can't install the developer's update OSXUpd10.8.1.pkg to my mountain lion.

That's it? No logs or details of what happened???

Warning (It's in Russian).
My freeway translation:
this upgrade of os x can not be installed on the disk. This volume does not meet the requirements of this update.

Original:
обновление os x нельзя устанавливать на данном диске. Этот том не соответствует требованиям данного обновления

You can try to install it yourself. Here is the https://rapidshare.com/files/4242525919/os_x_10.8.1_build_12b13_delta_update.dmg

Is there also an installer log? If this document still works you can follow it? Hopefully it works for OSX installs.
Assuming it even gets that far, if not is anything revealed in the Console?

I though pacifist is broken in ML?

Pacifist is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.11 or higher, including Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion”. It is also compiled as a Universal Binary for maximum performance on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.

It might work. :apple:

Every approach to boot from my USB Stick failed on a early 2008 Black Macbook.
Is this an USB Stick issue or am i doing something wrong?

Make sure that the USB stick is formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled).

Also try to boot the the drive by going into System Preferences and open Startup Disk and select the disk. :apple:

How to solve the problem

Have done both. At the end i have a grey screen with a black circle which has a line crossed in it.

I have the white macbook and I have the same problem as you.
How to solve this problem:
1. You should to start your mac from another partition than your install mountain lion. As is written here it could be partition with installed lion. If fact it could be flash or cd (dvd) drive.
2. You should to start another macos system. Really it could be linux or windows but you should be able to access the mac's drive with installed mountain lion and you should be able to write on this disk (partition).
3. When you load the another system you should open Mountain Lion drive (partition), navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices and replace PlatformSupport.plist with the one in MountainLionHack folder.
4. Exit the bootable drive (flash disk) or just simple restart the computer.
5. You mac is starting mountain lion....

That's all. It's really works. I've the same computer as you.

Does anyone know if the dp4 version of mountain lion also requires 64 bit drivers only or can the 32 ones work in it?

...i'm too stupid... :)
what i did:
- booted from an external hd where lion is installed on, this is not the hd where ML should be installed finally
- restore bootimage to usb stick according to the guide
- copied files according to the guide
- rebooted once with sart volume and once with option key from usb stick

with both i got the "no access" picture and the spinning wheel. I've followed the guide 100% even though i've seen that boot.efi file has a permission of 744 instead of 644 on original medium.
Changed permission to 644 didn't help though.....

Update:
got a step further
i didn't get it to install after boot, so i've installed directly from inside of lion. that worked. then i proceeded with the Guide and booted into lion and changed platformsupport file.
But now even though im booting from the right drive after a few seconds it launched from the main lion drive and i got the login prompt from there.....

Update2: Definitevly not booting. Even though you've said Macbook white is the same as Macbook black, i have checked my Macbook version white is 3.1 and black is 4.1 it didn't boot with 4.1 version
