i was just curious if anyone here and decided they didn’t like their iPhone X and returned it for a different phone or went back to your old iPhone?
I have been debating returning mine the battery life doesn’t seem to be any better then my iPhone 7 Plus and I don’t notice a big difference in interface obviously that never changes it feels like I am using the iPhone 7 still
But whthout a home button.
Also I cannot charge it on my charging pad in my car which really drives me nuts.
Tell me your thoughts on this.
Wow, I'd not step north of a grand for a phone I wasn't completely happy with. Get something that makes you happy.

I returned my X after 15 days. I went back to me 5S. I'm waiting next year for the X Plus.

My first thought when I first held the iPhone X was that it was much smaller than I anticipated. I have actually grown fond of larger iPhones over the years and now I will not go to anything less then a Plus model in the iPhone line up.

I think a 6.5 iPhone will be exactly what I'm looking for in the size, but I'm curious to see what other capabilities Apple will try to separate it from the 5.8 iPhone to entice the customer to want to upgrade to their most expensive model.

Yes, returned both.

Keeping one old iPhone but with the whole Throttlegate might just sell it..

FaceID has been improving the more I use it. Yesterday it had a hard time with unlocking when my hand was near my face. Today it seems to underand that it is me sitting lazily at the desk, and unlocks.
[doublepost=1516206223][/doublepost]Had it 6 weeks, and thought the same thing, that is was improving daily and getting faster. UNTIL, I set it on my nightstand, and woke up to "Face ID HAS BEEN DISABLED". Restarting didn't work, nor did restoring. Did not spend this much money on a phone to have this problem all of a sudden happen after 6 weeks of use, and I baby my phones!! Sent it back for a refund. And am happy with my 7 for now. Phone was also heavy to me. I much prefer the size of the 7. A 7 with full screen would be nice though...without the notch:) Was not hard at all to get used to the X though.

I think that's a good size to almost replace my laptop, with that size most my trivial work will be done on the iPhone. I was planning to leave iOS and move to Android just for that, for a bigger phone, a 6.5 size. But I really like the speed of the iPhone X.

Well, I picked up a X to try it out. I like it, no buyers remorse so far. This is only my second day with it, so we’ll see.

Test the camera and check the screen, I'm on my third, perfect and final iPhone X.

First batch of phones seems to be defective, I'm on my third iPhone, the last 2 were defective and for that reason I will not rush for an iPhone until January or February on the next iPhone.

Unfortunately I returned iPhone X after around 2 months of usage by taking advantage of holiday return. In my case, face ID was not as useful as I thought, and possible OLED Burn-in issue really bothered me.

~11/2/2017 : iPhone 6S
11/3/2017 ~ 11/14/2017 : iPhone X (sold in person)
11/14/2017 ~ 11/17/2017 : iphone 8 Plus (Returned to Apple Store)
11/17/2017 ~ 1/5/2018 : iPhone X (Returned to Apple Store)
1/5/2018 to Current : iPhone 8 (will return in two days)
1/15/2018 to Current : iPhone 7 Product Red

I know it is a long list but at the end, iPhone X and 8 are not worth the price. Therefore, I’m now using iPhone 7.

Holiday return is what I used as well, and how I was able to get a refund after 6 weeks. One thing I did not like about the X, was that I couldn’t just leave my phone flat on the desk to check notifications.

What exactly is frustrating about Face ID? It works fine for almost everyone I’ve seen. The notch also disappears in daily usage. Much ado about nothing, that notch.

That's funny because many journalists, even John Gruber admitted that he has to input his passcode more often...
