I haven't seen any - just older iPhones. I don't look for phones either, but it seems everyone has one on the table at restaurants or walks around with them in hand, so it's hard to miss.

Finally saw an iPhone X for the first time tonight. Guy was using his while sitting in a cafe.

They’ve been selling like crazy at the local Apple stores. But, this being New York City, I suspect people are reluctant to show them in public as of yet, which is a smart move.

Case in point: a week after launch, I was using mine on the subway when I noticed two rough-looking guys staring at me. They looked at each other, and I could tell they were planning to jump me when I got off the train. I remained calm, and decided to fake like I was getting off at the next stop, allowing them and some other passengers to get off ahead of me. I took my time walking to the doorway, but then stopped there just as the train doors shut, with me still safely inside. Whew!

Since then I’ve kept the X in my pocket, controlling it with my Apple Watch and wireless headphones.

Went to a family gathering and my wife’s cousin showed up with an X.
I’m philosophically opposed to talking public transit, but had no choice today and there was a 19/20 year old with an X. Only ones I’ve noticed since I got mine last week.

I've seen more people with the X than I have using airpods.

That being said I haven't seen may with an X but I'm sure that will change after Christmas.

Before I had one, I would see 1-2 per week out in public. I was still with my 6+ and deciding between the s8 or the X so when I wasn't comparing those 2 at best buy I just was curious to see how many I would spot in public.

Now that I have one, I love it. I've had 2 people ask about it and I had nothing but great things to say about it (minus the price, but life it short and I am budget conscious with most expenses so what the hell: Merry Christmas to me).

Well... Last week flying home in first class I did some unintentional people watching.

Before the whole cabin had boarded, there were 6 people I could clearly see from my seat. Every one us were looking at our phones, and every one of us had an iPhone X.

I even texted a friend cause it stood out to me as funny and a rather high percentage. After thinking for a second, it made some sense that folks in first class would have a higher likelihood of owning the latest and greatest. The 6 of us were definitely younger though than the typical demographic I see in First, which I think made a big difference. Estimated ages were prolly 27-45 when 60+ or at least 50+ is more the norm.

Still 6 iPhone Xs in 2 rows and within 5 sq feet of each other was as many as I've seen outside of an apple store...

I saw a guy with one, the week it came out — a young guy wearing scrubs, in line at at a lunch place (he was probably a tech or assistant at the nearby medical bldg.). Havent seen one in the wild since.

I haven’t seen an X in person in the wild. Did see an 8. Could’ve been a 7 tho hard to tell bc it had a case.

I’m using an 8 btw.

Haven't seen a single X yet, but I too only very rarely ever see AirPods.

I don’t really ogle other peoples’ phones very much. It feels voyeuristic to look at someone else’s smartphone display, but the iPhone X definitely has a distinctive look that isn’t hard to spot from a distance or an angle. So far I haven’t noticed any, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been around.

When I bought my Apple Watch in July 2015 I knew of only one other at my place of employment, and I rarely saw any in the wild. Less than a year later it seemed like the Apple Watch was everywhere.

Just my cousin and I, outside of us, Haven’t seen any in my area, but that reminds me of the Apple Watch. Didn’t see anybody wearing one for over a year outside of my visits to the Apple Store, and then they started to sprout on wrists all over the place. It’ll be interesting to see the next few months how many of these end up in pockets.

I cannot recall seeing anyone else with a Roman-Numeral-10 despite paying more attention to the phones around me.

Mahrez had one walking into the game vs Man City yesterday lol

Saw a few on TV with Kobe retirement Ceremony
