The $30 Billion number is essentially impossible. That's the cost of actually building two full Ford-class aircraft carriers, or a several times over multiple for Boeing/Airbus to develop an entire new airplane, or TSMC to develop and build an entire new generation of chips and the factory/fab to produce them.

I believe the article is actually about a training video with a box. It seems they haven't even seen the real box. So this is a rumour... about an image... of a box. Sorry, forgot where I was for a minute. Apple's product are too polished and well-integrated for any self-respecting person to own. If I don't have to integrate hardware, software, firmware and install drivers from floppy disks, it's CRAP, Tim Cook!

More seriously, that AVP box looks THICC AF. I'm excited about my AVP arriving next week, though it's a stupid amount of money for something that I have no real earthly use for. I bought it because it's the most bonkers chunk of tech I've ever seen - if it does half of what it claims and reviewers report, it's a minor tech/production miracle, and I'm curious as hell.

Also, Tim Cook stole my credit card info and is holding one of my kidneys hostage, so I have to buy one of everything Apple produces now. That's the kind of person he really is. The warm friendly thing is just an act, even more than Canadians.
