Ugh. I hate ups. Still waiting for my watch and phone.

Well UPS lost my phone. They only have logical scans (scans of the pallet it was on) of it and no physical scans of my individual ups box. CC center said it’s probably lost for good.

Told me to call Apple and open an inquiry. Called Apple and waited for 30 minutes. Woman said that it’ll take 3 business days for their inquiry to complete. I may have to wait till late next week before I get anything. I woke up at 5am for nothing

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Ups has no logical routes that they follow. They keep going back to the same areas they were already at. I hate the follow the driver option cause I keep checking it and yelling at my iPad.

Someone needs to fix their delivery process. It’s like the guy keeps going around circles and it says it’s almost at my house but they’re nowhere near my house according to the map where the driver is at so stupid

I got the anchor greysport loop and it has black lugs and matches perfect!!!!

That Noir Hermès watch face looks nice. I wonder if Space Black will be an annual thing for the Hermès. I’d love to see it get Titanium next year.

It’s really nice. Wasn’t sure I would like it but it’s different and very elegant. Really dresses up,the Watch with the Hermes band. I’m still syncing it to my phone. Took forever today.

The Hermes edition of the Apple Watch is the stainless steel version so a more appropriate point of comparison would be the basic $699 price of the SS with a basic sports band.
The Hermes bands are luxury items hand made with premium materials in France and are priced as such. The Hermes edition also includes an extra sports band with Hermes branding as well. The exclusive watch faces are just a bonus.
Regardless of what's in the box this is a luxury item from a high fashion brand, so naturally the price is higher.

This is my first year springing for a Hermes Apple Watch and I can't wait to get my hands on it next week!

SBSS paired with a few different Hermes single tours. Apart from the lugs, it looks way more versatile than I thought it would.

I am really bothered by the mismatched lugs. Just doesn’t look good to me.

I really hope Apple steps it up with Hermès (bands and case options) for the S6 because the Hermès S5 is such a wasted opportunity in my opinion.

If you’re a first time Hermès buyer it’s probably fine but I’m bored after 3 years of the Hermès watches.

The Noir Hermès watch face is absolutely stunning, particularly in “Always On” mode. With the black strap, the Space Black, and the dark screen, it is very elegant.

I’m torn. I have 6.4” wrists so with the leather/link bands the 40mm a bit looks better, but I dig the larger 44mm screen... and the lug-to-lug size of the 44 still fits in my wrist width with a couple mm to spare.

I know dressier watches are supposed to be smaller but not sure if those rules apply here or what to go with. Everyone I’ve asked so far have said both look fine and to pick what I want but I can’t decide!

I’d go with the 40mm. If you are going to get the Hermès the Space Black is really nice, and it gives you the option of pairing it with the Space Black link band when you want to give your Hermès leather a breather (though I used my last Hermès leather band daily for 2 years and it is still in good condition).

Also note that the 40mm S5 has a bigger screen than the 42mm S3.

I’d advise the smaller size for anyone, male or female, with a 6.4” wrist. The watch strap shouldn’t drop straight down from the watch’s lugs. As a friend memorably explained to me, “If, instead of curving around your wrist bone, the strap falls straight down from the lugs, the watch doesn’t fit. Think of Joan Crawford’s shoulder pads.”

^That look should be avoided.

Also, there are indications on watch fanatics’ websites of a trend toward smaller watch sizes for JLCs, Omegas, and even Rolexes in the 36-40mm range.

But if you like the oversized look, by all means go for it!

Nice. I’ve always preferred the smaller 38/40mm size, but IMO the larger version has better band options with the Hermès. That said, this year the Space Black Hermès is the one to get, and it is available in either size. I’d return both and get the Space Black.

It has already been confirmed that the Noir watch face is exclusive to the limited edition SBSS Hermes version.
