Hermès Edition Owners Thread

I’m torn. I have 6.4” wrists so with the leather/link bands the 40mm a bit looks better, but I dig the larger 44mm screen... and the lug-to-lug size of the 44 still fits in my wrist width with a couple mm to spare.

I know dressier watches are supposed to be smaller but not sure if those rules apply here or what to go with. Everyone I’ve asked so far have said both look fine and to pick what I want but I can’t decide!

Rolex has been increasing the sizes of their watches. They now make a 41mm datejust and I believe the yachtmasters have also increased in size. The larger sizes are extremely popular.. I have a two tone 36mm datejust that just looks too small after wearing my 44mm series 5

Hands down the Space black is beautiful along with the noir faces. Just love it. Rolex going back on its winder again

been eyeing having an hermes since getting my first band earlier this year. so i was going to grab one regardless of the band choices.

I don’t even like the SBSS for the Hermès. Just so boring. Maybe that’s because my friend and brother have had the SBSS watch in the past.

I am selling all of my Hermès bands. I will never mis-match lugs with any watch. I think it looks so terrible when people do that.

honestly since both look good on you i would say to stick with the 44mm only IF you like the 44mm exclusive bands (leather loops and a lot of hermes' single tours in fancy colors).

If you don't care about that kind of thing then keep the 40mm instead
 
Well here are both, second opinion would be great.

I have noticed that there are more options with the 44 but the 40 seems to fit just a bit better (but the band may just need another hole).

I purchased the space black after always having the Hermès Silver. I’m kind of second guessing it now. I love the watch but I just really love wearing the Apple silver link band with the silver

I have the space black link band as well but I don’t know if i like it as much as the silver. I ordered an additional silver and am going to decide which one to keep.

i think the black one is boring personally but to each his own. Even the noire faces are boring to me.

I'd always had SBSS until a couple of years ago when I got the Hermès. I kind of missed the SB so was really pleased when they announced the SBSS Hermès this year. I think the Noir Swift band looks awesome...

Well the Hermès noir numbers face is nearly unreadable. Forget about seeing it at all you aren’t looking at it and even when you look at it it’s really dim. Not a fan of all of that color on that face.

Yeah I’ll most likely return the black one and stick with silver one I ordered. It’s always been my favorite but thought I’d try the black but don’t think I’ll keep it.

Anyone looking to sell their 40mm Hermès sport band? I bought a 40mm space black titanium, and think it would look great with that band.

wait this is sort of a bummer! i was kinda hoping to have the 2-toned faces show even in AOD but i can see how that will kill battery. also maybe apple didn't wanna convert all the hermes watch faces so they kinda lazied out.

excited to see how this all turns out tho, gotta wait till this coming week

You still get the colored numbers. You just don’t get the two-toned face.

you can always swap out the S/M band with the M/L when returning 😉 (i actually dont know if they check)
 
Checked out the S5 in an Apple store yesterday and was surprised/disappointed by the slow response of the watch switching from the always-on face to the regular face. Noticeably slower than raise to wake on my S4. Hopefully the S6 will feature a faster response.
