Omg I wanted to say the same thing. I like this years model and a lot of us do. Thank you for voicing what a lot of us were thinking.

We all understand your point. But a lot of others like it and it’s kinda a big buzz kill for the rest of us every time you knock it. There will be other bands for sure. I have personally wanted a black band since series 3. I don’t care about the lugs not matching. I like the leather of the Hermès bands and the faces on the watch. Pretty sure Hermès dictates what style bands they want to sell with each model as I would think they design them.

I saw this video too! The watch with the noir watch face in the thumbnail looks really nice. Someone in the comments section mention that the black packaging is the thing that is limited and after it runs out, the box goes back to the usual orange ones. I still think the limited wording in the Apple site more likely mean that it may not be back for Series 6 though.

In another old YouTube video on Hermès Apple Watch, I saw a comment saying that you can buy the watch without the leather bands in Hermès shop in Paris! Wonder how true is that for Hermès shops around the world or perhaps it was something that was allowed in the past/only in Paris?

Last year when I went to the Beverly Hills Hermès store you could only buy the watch with band, or the band separately you were not able to just buy the watch face separately.

I have not noticed this.

It was pretty much every model on the floor, with a variety of faces. Kids and I all noticed the same thing. Maybe there’s a retail/floor mode or something that they place the watches in.

I hope for more Hermès faces too. They have a few watches that have yet to be digitized... and a white cape cod face would be nice too.

Got notice that my SBSS Hermes from Apple got moved up to Oct 1-3 delivery. Up from the Oct 16-23. I'll take it!

idk if its the hermes watch band or the watch faces or both that always elevate the stainless steel watch! its just so classy and fashionable.

i got myself a double tour but now im thinking maybe i shouldve gotten the brique in single tour..guess we will see when i get to open mine later

Thank you!! It’s the anchor grey sport loop. I think it looks great. I haven’t worn the noir leather band yet because i ended up really liking how the sport loop looks.

Have you bought any other bands from the latest release? I’m buying the space black Milanese loop and maybe the Nike desert loop. Thinking of getting one of the leather loops but not sure which one looks good.

Yes, I ordered the Hermès Etain/Beton single tour band. I am waiting for it to come. I think it will look nice with the SBSS. I like contrast so I think it will look nice. I’ll post pics when I get it. The lugs not matching is not a deal breaker to me. While I am fairly OCD, somethings you gotta just let go. That’s how I feel about the lugs.

I still have my Ebene Barenia deployment buckle band that I haven’t put on the watch yet. I have to do that to see how it looks.

Here is my SBSS 44mm Hermès Series 5 with the Anchor Grey sport loop. I love the look so much I haven’t even put on the Hermès Noir leather band, my Ebene Barenia deployment buckle or the new Hermès sport band yet.

thank you! its such a jump from the s2 and s3 i was using. the screen feels huge but im sure ill get used to it

hermes face + stainless steel + AOD makes this feel like a real watch
