It eventually happens with all leather such as with belts etc no matter how good it was made craftsmanship wise.
If you want to minimize wear you can attach a deployment buckle as that would save a lot of wear and tear when putting on the band.

No thanks I much prefer my Milanese Loop, but you’re right with your suggestion that should help with wear and tear.

I had that one, the creases that formed at the bent point made me sell it and go back to my trusty Milanese loop, great quality leather but not durable
Interesting. I've been using it daily for the past 8+ months and it is fine. I had another Hermes leather band that easily lasted 2 years of daily use.

Well, if you used the leather band with a regular classic tightening mechanism where you put the needle through the hole and tighten it would show the wear and tear at the crease point UNLESS you dont have the watch tight on your wrist. some people wear their watches loose on the wrist to the band where the watch is literally moving side to side which is fine because thats their preference and in return that would cause way less stress on the leather as it doesnt need to stretch and contract over and over again as if the watch was tightened on the wrist. If you use the deployment clasp then that would ideally be the way to go to avoid excess wear and tear on the crease of the leather band.

Yes, but the crease is normal.

Crease is normal but will eventually start to deteriorate over time if you tighten the pin into the same hole and have the band tight on your wrist as I stated above, if you have it loose the crease won’t develop into anything over time

Does anyone know where I can find and buy the following Hermès bands?
- Fauve arenia Leather cuff
- Eperon d’Or/Marine Gala Leather
- Noir/Brique/Étain Swift Leather

I’ve tried eBay but most of the cuffs on there are fake.

Damn that’s bad given the price.
This happens with all leather bands. Most leather bands break within 18 months. I wore a Hermès leather band every day for 2 years and it seems like it has at least another 2 or 3 years left of everyday use, though I’ve now switched to the Noir Hermès band.

Yes, but that process takes years. Believe me. I’ve had leather watchbands for over 30 years now. The Hermès bands are the best, bar none.

If I get the space black Hermès watch, would it be possible to contact Apple Support to purchase the orange sport band? I know you can contact Support to purchase another Hermès sport band, but I wasn't sure whether you could purchase the other band that didn't come with your watch.

typically, i will leather clean and condition my hermes band as well as rotate them. this includes not wearing them when i sleep or get them wet. They have been holding up for about 2 years.

Has anyone heard that the Apple Watch 5 Hermès Swift Leather Single Tour 44mm, Noir/Blanc/Gold strap is no longer being offered? I went to purchase this particular watch this week and it was no longer offered on Apple's site. I reached out to customer service and the rep confirmed this. I purchased the last one from Hermes site, after my purchase, it is no longer offered on their as well.

Unless you had a specific need to buy it directly from Apple, it's available right now on Hermes.com.

Ah, so it is. The Add to Cart option was available earlier today, whereas now it does that Oops thing. I've experienced that on a variety of items on their website (Hermes). I suppose you can always keep the page to the direct item bookmarked and monitor it. Inventory comes and goes on Hermes' website. Hopefully it comes back so you can buy it.
