I’m in Australia so the market for the Hermès Apple Watch isn’t really there.
The last three Hermès that I sold were all around the 50-55% mark of the original cost in Australian dollars. Some would list it for more but it would just be unsold for a long period of time.

You posted pictures of your SBSS S5 on other Hermes bands - so do you sell the Watch without the leather band in that case?

I remember seeing your posts here somewhere - possibly earlier in this thread - with some silver hardware Hermes bands - definitely an Indigo/Craie/Orange. I was trying to decide if I wanted a black or a silver Hermes. It stuck in my mind because you’re in Aus and I’m in NZ.

Good memory haha
That was my Series 4 which I sold last year for about AUD$950. I wanted more but there really isn’t a big market or demand for it here.

I might go back to silver stainless steel this year.

Do we think the space black rallye will continue being the only rallye? History shows each one gets to stick around for four seasons, but I’d love to see a red one with silver hardware alongside it.

Yeah, I couldn’t decide so I bought a Space Black S5 regular to see what I fancied for a Hermes after switching between it and my SS S5. I like SBSS but the SS just feels classier, so that’s where I’m going with Hermes, but unless they are available in NZ from the S6 I’ll look for a used S5. I got my wife an SS in March from Aus and it was waaaaay too much hassle even pre travel restrictions.

After having the SBSS and SS, I agree that the SS looks classier. It’s also much easier to buff out any scratches with a cape cod cloth.
Everyone says the SBSS is more resistant to scratches but I still managed to scratch mine and had two small dints in the corner where it meets the sapphire display.

My SBSS still looks perfect I think, but we were pretty much in lockdown when I got it so it hasn’t had a lot of chance to get beaten up. I had thought they were close to indestructible so interesting to hear they aren’t. I do like the black Hermes faces, but not enough to get a SBSS one.

The Hermès “double tour” bands catch my eye, I think it’s quite an attractive band that could be worn on dates, special events, to work, etc.

I’m a late-20s male that has worn Apple Watches since they came out. I’ve never worn a double-tour style watch band before. Anything special I should consider before splurging?

It only fits modern buckle small people. I have to give them to my mom when I find an irresistible deal lol. But they’re quite elegant and amazing. There’s definitely a learning curve to putting it on but it does end up creating this nice X pattern only visible to the wearer that is *chef kiss*

They’re only available for the 40mm watch and are quite short in length. Check the size of your wrist and compare it to the range of sizes they fit before buying one.

My wife has three and recently told me that is “enough”. Her reasoning is that they are not as comfortable as ‘regular’ style to wear all day. As a special occasion band that obviously isn’t an issue, and she does wear one to work now and again so it doesn’t stop her entirely.

Apple Watch Hermès category has been removed from the official Hermès website.
Hopefully just leaving space for Series 6 or not being discontinued 😱

Another member started a thread on that topic, and I suspect it’s nothing more than protocol. If the Hermes brand was pulled after the announcement, that would be more concerning. But this could definitely be more imminent of a refresh.

The Hermès site always feels like it was made 12 years ago by an outside software dev that was the cheapest bidder for the contract.

Anyways, their site always gets weird around the announcement. I think one year they even created a place holder the day before the series was announced.

I wouldn’t read anything into it.

It’s embarrassingly bad. I was just trying to see their non-Apple Swift bands and just their new bags in general to color hunt and most items 404d or flashed for a second and then 404d...I wonder if it’s an intentional signal. Like it’s cool to have a crappy but arty site...

Yes I remember. I think they might’ve been the first ones to leak that the Series 5 was coming out by posting that placeholder.

Not the greatest but a quick look at the new Hermès Series 6! I'm sure the Apple Store will be refreshed soon with a better look.
